Polladaday: Refs Not Doing Enough?

“They’re letting the game get too physical,” Eric Gordon told the L.A. Times a few days ago. After a bit of a rough contest, it seems EG was worried that the lack of calls could get him or one of his teammates injured. Do you agree? 

Are the refs letting the game get too physical?

    I think the game is getting too physical but at the same time I disagree when the refs call a technical for just a shout.

    the game is getting too damn soft. If people like lebron and kobe can whine to the refs and then get 10 calls afterwards just so they dont hear their mouths then theres a problem.

    Take it to the cup and try to score. Don’t try to draw a foul. It will work itself out if you do it that way.

    Don’t get physical game confused w/physical INSTANCES in a game. Every1 who saw 80′s and 90′s ball,me being the latter,can all agree that the game was leaps and bounds more physical than 2day’s game. We didn’t have 2 b a part of the game 2 know that. It was obvious just by watching. Now,if we got people 2day sayin that the game 2day is physical and others that say that it isn’t,me being the latter,then its clearly not. Cats 2day have it easy compared 2 those eras

    Basketball is soft. If Kevin Durant gets one more call with that swoop move, I’m going to write a letter.

    The league is too soft, someone needs to tell EG to get is weight up…..or go play some pick-up ball with Oakley and Laimbeer.

    The refs are so inconsistent in their calls. I think that is the aggravating thing. I also don’t like the automatic two shots when the offensive players swoops his arms through the defenders arms or jumps into the defender.

    refs I feel are pretty inconsistent around the league, you never know which set of refs is gonna call the game how

    Remember the 90′s? The game is nothing compared to that, so it is very soft. The refs do a bad job anyway and you can’t even express your feelings anymore on the court. Nba is making a disgrace of a fine sport called basketball.
