Samuel Dalembert Wants Out of Sacramento

Sammy Dalembert wants out! Hello … anybody there? Anyone … ? From the Sac Bee: “Samuel Dalembert’s stay in Sacramento has been short and anything but sweet. The Kings center has been injured, frustrated about the style of play and, of late, more than mildly upset about his diminishing role. If he isn’t exactly demanding a trade, his agent, Marc Cornstein, is in town seeking clarification of his client’s role – and is more than a little receptive to a relocation. ‘They have to let me know which direction they want to go,’ Dalembert said. ‘They know what I do best. I block shots, rebound, get us in the fast break. Am I going to play the next five years in a place that is a contender, or am I going to be here, helping this team get better? It’s up to them. But I am not going to lie. This is very frustrating.’”

If he leaves then the kings have no shot at a title this season.

For the last few months I’ve been telling my friend how well I think Sammy would di in Miami. He can run the floor, block shots, and rebound, and could play 30-35 minutes in MIA

You suck, no one wants you. Although you’re admittedly a man with a good heart.

Dalembert could be in luck if he sticks it out on the Kings. The entire team looks to be heading out of Sactown. Soon he can complain about a whole new city. (Vegas? Seattle? Louisville?)

I say trade him to Detroit.

Some players have, through years of hard work and sacrifice, earned the right to decide where they want to play. Sam Dalembert is not one of those players.

Like seriously I think he could be a great fit with the Heat…prepare to take that minimum though. You know you don’t call shots ’round this league lol.

Knicks let’s go. You need some D. Plus isn’t his deal going to expire soon?

True that, he’d be perfect for the Heat.

    Orlando?

Oh god, if they ever buy him out Riles will hop on the first plane to Sacto. He would fit in perfectly with Miami and they would only ask him to do what he does best. Sammy is still a legit 10 boards, 2.5 blocks guy. His parents already live in Miami too. I’m stoked just thinking about htis.

    Don’t get too stoked.
Sammy needs to see the Wizard. He and the tin man got the same problem.

Here’s the deal. You can ask him ’til your blue in the face to do what he does best but he has always desired a role that does not suit him in the slightest. He wants to shoot, pass and facilitate the offense when he excels at none of the above. The guy makes bonehead plays on the regular, has really terrible hands and has zero ability to pass out of a double team (though why anyone would double him is beyond me) It didn’t help that his conditioning is lacking due to an early season injury leading to his now inability to “do what he does best”. Oh, and it does not help his cause that DMC has put up 22ppg in the last 4 games while taking on a leadership role and maturing into a player that picks his spots. I would take back Spencer Hawes in a freaking heartbeat. Sammy, you are truly a great humanitarian, but you need to play within yourself and shut the f*ck up.

Demarcus has been playing great recently. Hi haters. Im sure the kings dont want to trade his exxpiring deal for long term deals. So maybe a buyout?

I think the Rockets could use him to pair with Scola. Dalembert for Shane Battier and Brad Miller?

Well you won’t be able to unload him to the Canadian national team

I should have said the scarecrow, my fault. Not the tin man, the scarecrow.
