Chris Bosh ‘Really Hates’ Losing to Boston

Bosh and The Heatles have yet to beat the Celtics this year, something that’s weighing heavily on their minds. From WEEI: “Chris Bosh tripled his scoring output from his Heat’s 88-80 opening-night loss to the Celtics, and it still didn’t matter. The C’s held Miami to 82 points in a three-point victory on Sunday that gave the East leaders a 3-0 season advantage over the conference’s second-place team. ‘We’ll just have to wait to beat the Celtics in another month or so,’ said Bosh. ‘I really hate losing to these guys, man. We’re just going to have to wait a little bit longer. Things like this are going to make us better. Coming into an environment like this, against tough teams like this, battling for first place, it’s going to add to our experience and add to our trust. We’re just going to have to keep going and learn from it.’ The two teams don’t actually face each other until April 10 — three days before the end of the regular season — but the Eastern Conference’s No. 1 seed could already be determined by then. As it stands now, the Celtics (39-14) own a half-game lead on the Heat (39-15). ‘We’re in each other’s way of winning an NBA championship with other teams in the Eastern Conference like Chicago and Orlando and a few other teams,’ said Lebron James. ‘This is a team that everybody is trying to catch. They’re the defending Eastern Conference champions.’”

At least he has a bit of fire in his teeny, tiny belly.

Rondo gave a nice demonstration yesterday, that it’s possible to dominate a game without monster statistics (though a triple double is certainly nice).

Strong game by Bosh yesterday, but from watching Miami this year, there’s no offensive set gameplanning, it’s just set screens for Wade/Lebron and let them make decisions. Against lesser teams that will work in a 7 game series. Against a sound defensive team that knows how to properly rotate and play passing lanes at the right time, it won’t. In a 7 game series between Boston and MIA, it wouldn’t go past 5 games. Boston also won with Pierce’s worst game in 12 years.

If Bosh got the ball more, the Heat would’ve won it by the 3rd q.

Damn its retarded how Bosh was going in that game and dudes didn’t feed him the ball except for open J’s and the often broken play. Bosh is capable of putting up big numbers and to see them not give him the ball while he was shooting great was sad. Wade was struggling to hold the ball and same with Lebron. They should’ve allowed Bosh to operate at the Block, but I give KG a lot of credit, taking his comfort zones on the court from him. But seriously, you gotta give it to the guy on fire. They need to run more plays for CB

I agree, bosh was the best player for the heat yesterday offensively and they shouldve kept going to him because he was hitting shots i thought were going to clank. One thing I had a huge problem with in the game though was the foul called on rondo for the 5 seconds when he was backing up house, yet when lebron did it from almost the 3 point line winding down the shot clock to where there was 3 seconds he doesnt get called.

Turns out the 5 second count only begins when the player gets below the free throw line.

    @ Riggs

The rule is that when a player is under the foul shot line he cannot dribble for more than 5 seconds whereas if he is around the three point line like lebron, it is legal

i know bosh was shooting the ball really well yesterday and they should’ve kept going to him, but don’t think that the way he was scoring yesterday (mostly off of jump shots) is the key to success for the heat. they might’ve won yesterday with that strategy, but it won’t work in the long run. a few pick and pops here and there are good, but the heat have to find a way to get easy, consistent buckets in the paint.

There is more to come Bosh! More to come!

  • Riggs

thanks for the heads up both of you.

cosign lightsout. also, ru paul the centerpiece overrated. with his capspace money, could’ve added some true depth to the roster.

Why all the sad violin music for CB? Dude had an open baseline J to tie it with 40some seconds left, and bricked it. Move on.
