Jason Williams is Memphis-Bound

As expected, Williams and the Grizz are set to officially reunite, reports the Commercial Appeal: “Free-agent point guard Jason Williams has agreed in principle to sign with the Grizzlies, according to sources with knowledge of the situation. Barring an unforeseen development, the 35-year-old will join the team by Monday. Williams informed Griz management of his decision Wednesday night while the team played on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves.”

Best of luck to JWill. Hopefully the Memphis coaching staff can reel his temper in. He got ejected earlier this year in what, 40 seconds?

Magic might have had a title if Stan Van didnt take Rafer’s minutes away from him. He instead put in Jameer Nelson who just came off a major injury but Jameer was so out of rhythem it was ridiculous. That whole playoffs Rafer was killing. Him being benched for Jameer when he was playing so well was the start of his downward spiral of him leaving the league.
