Jay Triano Gave Chris Bosh the Cold Shoulder

Bosh returned to Toronto last night and emerged victorious. He then gave the world a glimpse into the now-icy relationship between himself and Jay Triano, his old coach. From the Sun: “I tried to shake [Jay Triano's] hand before the game the first time we played in Miami,’ Bosh said. ‘I guess he really didn’t want to talk before the game. I was just trying to say hello, but if he’s not feeling it, it’s all good.’ Bosh was then asked if that surprised him. ‘Yeah, it surprised me,’ Bosh said. ‘At the end of the day, this is a game. This is business for us, but it’s a game. You spend a significant amount of time with somebody, you just want to say: ‘Hey, how you doin? How’s the family?’ I wasn’t looking to have a candid conversation before the game.’”

    Well, Bosh is a d-bag.

I support Triano. No sense fraternizing like the Cavs were when LeBron came to town. No need to be fake and pretend like you like the guy still.

Seriously Slam? I guess with all the diva-ness going on in the NBA now, it was bound to turn into TMZ.

  • Cizzo

“C’mon, that is how guys get hurt, that is how serious injuries happen. You’ve got to watch people’s legs. I know guys want to hustle and everything but we all want to play and provide for our families and have a job.
We all want to be healthy and that is very important If it is by somebody’s leg, don’t dive for the ball, it’s too close.”

B*tches be catchin’ feelings, indeed, E.

I like how he was saying “bring it on” the other day and now this. Typical fake tough guy talk.

If anything, Triano should have shaken Bosh’s hand and thanked Bosh for leaving. If Bosh had re-signed, there would have been expectations of making the playoffs. As we all know, a Bosh-led team isn’t making any playoff appearances. If Bosh had stayed, the Raps might have 5 more wins than they do now, and Triano would probably be in a T.O. soup kitchen asking for a refill.

thats old school mentality for yuh. No shaking hands with the other team. go to WARRR!!!!

  • Migs

As much as it’s “just a game” for a player like Bosh, he doesn’t have to worry about being fired if his team doesn’t compete. This could be the last chance Triano gets to coach an NBA team, while Bosh has many multi-million dollor paycheques and many years ahead of him, barring injury.

The Naaboo b*tch let his play talk for him. Let Triano suck on his blue co*k with 3D glasses on.

Eboy @ Cizzo – I feel like a f*ckin’ geek typing this, but I’m pretty sure y’all are confusing the planet Naboo from Star Wars with the Na’vi people from Avatar.

Well I can understand Triano not liking Bosh, since Bosh pretty much decided he wasnt a Raptor midway through last season. His antics couldve gotten Triano fired and just were not professional. But not shaking hands is just a bit(h thing to do.

Eboy there isnt a bigger b*tch in the L then Bosh.

  • yes.we.did.

Whatever Chris. He wants to be that way, let him sit in the corner and pout.

This is business for us, but it’s a game.

  • bashmo

MikeC what a moronic comment. The Raps made the playoffs with Bosh as their leader and top scorer two seasons in a row. And seeing how weak the East is this year, you’re telling me a toronto Squad with Bosh wouldnt be in the race for Playoffs? Last season at this time believe it or not, the Raptors record was 31-24, good for 5th in the east at the time. Injuries to Bosh resulted in that 40-42 record.

    Durant was right!
