Kendrick Perkins to Sit Out One Week

The Celtics say it’s only a mild knee sprain, sidelining the big fella for about a week. From the Boston Herald: “Kendrick Perkins said last Tuesday night he hoped to play against the Nuggets, but the best he may get to do is watch. He’s about to get a trip back to Boston to tend to his left knee. ‘Perk’s got a mild sprain of his MCL,’ said GM Danny Ainge. ‘He’ll probably be out a week.’”
