Polladaday: Lakers Trade?

Given the recent losing, the Lakers are beginning to become the subject of various trade rumors. If they do deal, and can get some youth and energy in return, they’ll need to give up at least one important piece. Who should it be?

Who should the Lakers be willing to trade?

they should be willing to trade pau he’s the only player they can get someone who will completely reenergize this team they need to be prepared to sacfrfice a great player to get a great player

there should be an option for all four players

Ron’s the easy choice here, although they could probably get a lot more for Bynum.

I was just thinking…maybe this is completely improbable….but Landy Fields is exactly the guy the Lakers need on this squad. Athletic enough to get up and down, smart enough to make the right basketball plays, scrappy enough to defend and come up with the offensive boards. Less athletic, and ball hawking, than Trevor Ariza but imo the better player already……he’s not untouchable, I doubt Donnie and Co. let him go without a steep price paid…

Don’t trade Ron artest. You win a championship with him as the 3 in his first season, a risky trade considering they gave up another defensive stopper in Ariza. They’re having a bit of on court issues, but the solution is not to trade your best defensive stopper and a guy who can sometimes make key plays. (Hint: 2010 NBA Finals, Game 7, Final 2 Minutes)

But seriously, the problem is that the lakers bigs are not producing and kobe is not playing in the system like he has been 2 years in a row. Once Kobe starts playing more within the system and Gasol once again asserts himself in the post around the block like the beginning of the season, they will once again be the best team in the L no question. Im not even Laker fan, but this is the truth.

Bynum’s always gonna be a problem. Trade him and Caracter for Bogut or something.

i say either bynum or artest. artest is lost in the triangle offense, but he does come up big at times. bynum though, he’s still there because of “potential”. honestly, i would rather bench bynum and put odom in the starting lineup. bynums made of glass anyway, is there ever a year where this guy aint hurt for an extended time?

get ridda pau for sure. euro puss

Thye’d trade Ron-ron in a minute i feel but out of the options on this list, i would darn well bet Bynums’ the only one that will get you something good in return. no offense to artest.
