Re-Signing Marc Gasol is Grizzlies’ Top Priority

The Grizzlies are making it clear that they want soon-to-be restricted free agent Marc Gasol to remain in Memphis for the foreseeable future. From CBS Sports: “A league source cognizant of the Grizzlies’ strategy said Memphis intends to ‘do what it takes’ to retain Marc Gasol, a restricted free agent after the season. ‘He’s the No. 1 priority,’ the source said. But what about O.J. Mayo? Rival executives continue to believe Mayo is eminently available, despite the cold feet many experienced when Mayo was suspended for taking a banned over-the-counter supplement.”

If the Grizzles were really interested in winning they’d sign a premire big lik erik dampier

@2k champ – The Grizzlies aren’t good enough for Damp. At this point in his career, after all of his accomplishments, he’s earned the right to play for a contender. He doesn’t want to be on the list of superstar players who never win a ring.

Thabeet and Mayo should net them a big expiring, if they choose to go that way. Maybe even send ZBO out, as much as he’s putting up numbers, I don’t think randoph’s really part of their future plans.

It’s all lies..they’re gonna trade him to the Lakers for spare change.
