Steve Nash Doesn’t Expect Trade, Even Next Season

The media won’t stop asking Steve Nash about the possibility of him getting traded; he won’t veer from his belief that he’ll be in Phoenix all season long, and also next year. The Arizona Republic reports: “Suns guard Steve Nash said he did not speak to his agent, Bill Duffy, to lead to Duffy’s comments in an espn.com article that ‘We would expect that they (the Suns) may entertain moving him during the summer’ and that he and Nash are ‘ready’ for that. ‘Sometimes, what’s said is in the context of something else,’ Nash said. ‘I haven’t spoken to him about it. I expect to be here (in Phoenix). I’m happy here. I expect to be here even next year. I don’t even think about it. I’m just happy to try to make the playoffs.’ Suns management often has stated an intent to not trade Nash.”

I really hope the Suns are nice enough to let Nash go, he deserves it, let him try to get a championship before he retires. Maybe he should go to the Heat, imagine Nash handling the ball, a great shooter and he’s the one passing the ball to James, Wade and Bosh. That would be absolutely sick. Just imagine the oops.

has fans it’s hard to swallow … we’d like him to be on a contender … but as a human being … it’s nice to see this guy be loyal and just happy to play.

It would be a shame if Nash retired without a ring! A true shame!!!

Many of the all time greats don’t have a ring, at least Nash has a couple of MVP awards.

If Nash wins a ring that kid will have to go back in time again to tell him he’ll be an NBA champion aswell.

Realizing that it takes someone special, such as Carmelo, to deal with both trade rumours and at th same time being able to perform, he waves the trade talks off.

The Suns will let Vince Carter go this summer and will have a little more money to burn for a younger decent scoring player. They’ll be winning games again next season…..with Nash leading the charge.

It’s commish Stern’s fault that Nash doesn’t have a ring…if he hadn’t suspended his teammates when they were squaring off the Spurs back then…

As a Hawks fan that trade would be a dream scenario.

We respect Steve Nash and Grant Hill, and frankly, would like to see both have championship rings, but selfishly, without both the Suns are not going to be good for some time. At a senior age, I PRAY Steve and Grant stay for the team as they are CHAMPION LEADERS IN EVERY RESPECT!

I Love to see Steve Nash and Grant Hill won their first Championship ring in Phoenix, and not in other team or a contender.
