Your NBA All-Star Reserves

Yahoo!‘s Adrian Wojnarowski has obtained the list through his magical sources minutes prior to the official announcement. You may begin complaining … NOW:

Eastern Conference: Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett, Chris Bosh, Al Horford, Joe Johnson.

Western Conference: Tim Duncan, Pau Gasol, Russell Westbrook, Blake Griffin, Manu Ginobili, Dirk Nowitzki, and Deron Williams.

    I watched Kevin Love average 25 & 19 against the Spurs over the span of three consecutive games that came down to the final possession. Instead of trying to close the case, how about closing your mouth Matlock.

    Josh Smith over Bosh, Felton over Ray and Boozer over KG. And Kevin Love HAS to be the replacement over Yao. East is suddenly so boring.

    Ok i can understand the logic, Stats = All-Star game, but to some extent, you have to take into account your team’s record. Minnesota’s record is 11-37, and he’s playing with Michael Beasley. They could arguably be in the 40% win. Kevin Love DOES NOT make his team win, simple as that. Btw Myles, i watched the 3 games against Minnesota, Love was a monster in the 1st one, he totally dominated our bigs but we made a good job on limiting his production on the offensive end the games after that (he had 20 and 18pts).
    An All-Star spot would have been well-deserved, don’t get me wrong, he’s a good player and i give him my MIP vote any day of the week, i just dont put him over Duncan.

    What did Chris Bosh do? He is a dud this year. He does not deserve to be an allstar. The boy is soft and I had how he interviews. He said he would have been disappointed if his name was not call. He should give his spot up. Shaq deserve to be the reserve he got the votes and Bosh didn’t event play center that much because he’s soft. A 38 year old diesel is the backup center.

    The only reasons Duncan is in this game is because of two factors: he’s a legend, and his team has the best record in the league. Not saying that its right but the selection committee is thinking in their brains, how can the best team in the league not have an All-Star? So they select Ginobli and Duncan off biased stats they put up in the past and because their the two best playersplaying on the team with the best record. In the end, Ellis Love and Aldridge’s superior stats get sacrificed. Not saying its right but its true

    East coaches got it right. If Boozer or Noah had played a full season, maybe they should be in instead of Horford, but he’s only missed one game.
    Bosh is an All-Star, no argument there.
    Myles, I didn’t no Minny played San An 3 times straight? Kev Love is a selfish rebounder, for whoever it was that wrote the essay on his skills. Is Kev a better player than Tim Duncan? Blake Griffin? No, he isn’t.

    Oh also why is it that Doc is coaching and coincidentally he gets 4 celtics on his roster, and Pop coaching, gets Ginobili (ok) and an old Tim Duncan on his squad??

    I know why they are coaching just,, just find that having their own players when there are others more deserving smells funny!!!

    heals: I agree w/ you when you said, don’t complain about the line ups without providing alternatives…real alternatives and not ones just because. lol. Someone said the East bench (Celtics) were boring. Ray lighting it up from 3 like he did a couple of years ago was not boring. How many more players in the ASG has more game winners than PP? What other bigs in the East would you rather watch in a game than KG that bring more to the table? RR? What boring.

    Amen to lightsout & tony knorr. I’d love to see Josh Smith flying around but some would complain that an erratic, ill advised gunner made it…can’t win either way.ppl obviously don’t follow the game before commenting, (Boozer/Noah have barely played). ppl would really be pissed if Shaq made it too. lol. Don’t laugh, the Big collard green has played alright so far. I don’t believe that Doc & Pop were the only coaches voting for reserves so the conspiracy theory just died. As far as Doc playing his players a lot, I doubt it b/c he wants them to rest and not risk injury. hhhmmm then haters can then complain that Doc is trying to injury his Eastern opponents. This was fun, time to correct so tests.

    To anyone who thinks Love should not have made the all-star team doesn’t know anything about basketball period. When you drop 31pts and grab 31 rebs in the same game you’re an all-star….winning or losing record nothing.

    Blake Griffin is an absolute beast and waiting 1 full season for him was well worth the wait. Clearly LA is not a prime time guy cuz no one talks about him.
