The new Rockets point guard unfiltered.

New Houston Rockets point guard Goran Dragic was one of 48 players (yes, I counted ‘em) dealt before this year’s NBA Trade Deadline. But a change of scenery has not been a problem for Dragic, who is in the midst of his third NBA season.
So far, so good. Watching his interactions with new teammates, he’s clearly happy to be in Houston. He joked around with veteran center Brad Miller after their Monday win against the Sacramento Kings, teasing the big man who was speaking to media at the time.
He also holds no grudge toward the Phoenix Suns for trading him. At 24 and with only a few years of experience under his belt, Dragic already understands the NBA is a business and only a few players are lucky enough to play their entire careers with one team.
I caught up with him after the Rockets’ victory against the Kings Monday and asked how he’s been dealing with his new home in Houston.
SLAM: Been a couple weeks since you were traded from Phoenix to Houston. How have you been adjusting?
SLAM: What’s different for you in this situation here in Houston versus Phoenix?
SLAM: How would you compare your role in Houston versus Phoenix? You feel like you fit better with the Rockets than the Suns?
SLAM: How surprised were you when you found out you had been traded?
