Chris Paul Had His Knee Drained

Fluid was drained from CP3′s bothersome left knee this week. Reports the Times-Picayune: “New Orleans Hornets All-Star point guard Chris Paul had fluid drained from his left knee Tuesday, but he played 41 minutes in Wednesday night’s victory against the Houston Rockets that clinched a playoff berth.”

After the game, Monty called him a “Monster”, and that they “don’t make them like him any more”. I agree with Monty and Phil. I was he had not have got that damn concussion, so he could have reached his goal of playing all 82. After seeing him come out literally on one leg some nights, he would have deserved it.

still my favorite point man of the nba.. if he can ever get on a better team (magic or knicks) then he might actually get somewhere instead of pullin the weight all by himself

Sorry if this sounds crazy to anyone but… maybe they should just rest him now that they’ve clinched a playoff position…

^No way, new Orleans needs to secure the 6th seed by winning as much as possible for the remainder of the season, to avoid LA in the first round.

it would be a good idea maybe if they were in the east as the fifth seed but then again Id like to see CP3 in great shape for the playoffs

i dont think any one plays as hard and as well as he does to make a team that should be in the lottery an at least mediocre team

man i have so much love/respect for him, but i almost wish the hornets would exit the playoffs quick, just so that he’d able to fully heal in the off-season. the man gets triple doubles on one leg. 2 legs, he is in the mvp discussion. i just hope we haven’t been robbed of several years of watching his on-court brilliance.

^ Right on point with that
