A few coaches helped boost their teams to unexpected heights this year. Who did so the best?
Who do you think is the Coach of the Year?

Mike D`Antoni should be Coach of the Year; he’s lead the KNICKS back into the playoffs.
Tibs….my heart goes for Doug Collins though
….and I’ll go ahead and *PAUSE* myself before any of yall try and do it for me
I voted Thibs…Is this his first ever job as head coach?
I voted for Tom Thibodeau, because of the way he has those pesky Bulls overachieving. Getting that #1 seed is going to be huge for the Bulls finally breaking their 1st round cherry together. Don’t sleep on the Pacers though. Just sayin.
Tibs. Did not expect the Bulls to be where they’re at right now.
I have to go with George Karl. I cant believe how well they are playing and managed to get better by trading carmelo. He has so many new players and was immediately able to get them rolling. I think Masai Ujiri should get gm of the year as well.
@Bryan. Yea, I thought about George Karl too, he basically had to work with a new team and didn’t flinch. But I feel the league will ultimately choose Thibs. It’ll be close though.
Those Ex-Knicks are making it the difference in Denver, not George Karl sucking on his cough drops.
I can’t argue against Coach Pop for 2011 COY. Tibs or Pop are great choices. You really can’t go wrong between those two.
definitely Tibs. d’antoni would have the bulls in the 6 spot, isaiah would have them in the lottery.
between tibs, collins and Karl
Thibideau, easily. You knew the Bulls were gonna be good this year, but you didn’t expect them to be this good. They’re on a roll and it seems like nothing can stop them.
How bout coach McMillan? What he’s been able 2 do w/my blazers is remarkable
Tibs, or as Doc would call him, coach’s VD
George Karl for sure.
I voted George Carl but im with @TheBlackRickKamla because my heart goes out to collins. Denver is doing great this year without the all star Melo
I gotta go with Popovich simply because he’s significantly upped the Spurs’ win total with his main core one year older. Also, the fact that he turns undrafted players or second rounders (Neal, Blair) into legit contributors proves he’s king of player development.
