Raymond Felton Promises Nuggets Won’t Get Swept

Following two demoralizing losses in OKC, Raymond Felton does his best to give his team confidence as they head home for Games 3 and 4. The Denver Post reports: “Rather than curl in the fetal position after being pummeled throughout an embarrassing 106-89 loss to Oklahoma City, Nuggets guard Raymond Felton came out swinging. Denver finds itself down 2-0 in this best-of-seven series NBA playoff series. All looks grim. But want to make Felton angry? Mention the possibility of a sweep by the Thunder. ‘We’re definitely coming back to Oklahoma City,’ Felton insisted Wednesday, his dare-me feistiness in sharp contrast to the sullen atmosphere of the visitors dressing room. ‘We’re going home to bounce back, get these next two games, one game at a time, and make it a series. We’ll get our confidence back and be better prepared when we come back here. We’re definitely coming back.’”

    I think they can get one or two, but that’s really it. This series is basically over.

    Nuggets will make this a series. They got hit in the mouth in game 2 and now it’s time to hit back. Bring that thugish swagger to the Pepsi Center.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if they got swept.

    Maybe if they had melo..the team doesn’t have a superstar..just a bunch of good players..in the playoffs you need an all star in order to win a series, the games are so closed and the fouls are mostly called whether you’re a star or not..only the detroit pistons were able to win a championship without a scoring all star I think (Ben Wallace all star 2004).

    If we lose it’s cause Nene’s playing like a b**ch right now

    this is same dude that said that the bobcats and magic were evenly matched last year in an interview before the play-offs, I still chuckle when I think about him making that comment.

    Yo y’all leave Lil Felt alone. He don’t realize he not goin against the Thunder. He’s going against the You know Who’s beginning with an I.

    Don’t know what series you guys are watching, but Nene has been one of the Nug’s best players. Not his fault that Durant and Westbrook are going berserk, thats on the perimeter defenders..

  • Gregg

    @c_cantrell: It’s ‘they’re’ not ‘their’.

    Felton is a BUM
