Dwyane Wade: ‘I’m Not Hurt’

Speculation was running rampant that DWade’s struggles in the Eastern Conference Finals were due to some kind of injury, but according to the Heat superstar, there’s nothing wrong with him physically. From the Palm Beach Post: “I’m not hurt,’ Wade declared, as soon as he sat down behind the microphone. ‘Get that out of the way, and move on.’ That statement, which led to laughter, was in response to speculation that something must have been bothering Wade during his subpar offensive series against Chicago. He was sweating profusely at times, failed to convert a couple of dunks, and spent part of Game 5 icing his surgically-repaired left shoulder.”

I don’t buy it. Flash seems to always be hurt, whether it’s his shoulder, back, legs, or suffering from migraines. The guy plays through them, though!

He was sweating profusely at times. It seems basketball is no longer a sport that causes you to sweat anymore.

Sweating Profusely playing ball ? You serious ? That’s some B.S ! Wade was under some pressure to perform in front of the home (Chi) crowd like everybody is sometimes. Still came up with key plays. Like a moster block on Rose at the end of game 4. Playing the type of ball he plays , will always be a little banged up, so what. He got heart , will & love for the game. F.C.U.K. the talk. I’m sure he’s up for taring Dallas a new one 2nite. Bring it !!!!!!!

Dwyane Wade is always hurt. He just doesn’t want you to know because he doesn’t want the perception to be that he always gets hurt. But he always gets hurt, so he isn’t fooling anyone.

These modern players are pathetic. He said he was “hurt” at the end of the closer in Chicago. Gary Payton played Michael Jordan with a TORN CALF MUSCLE in the ’96 NBA Finals and no one knew it because he never spoke of it. Man up!

If I had to put money on one NBA player using PEDs, I’d say it’s Wade. If he isn’t on something, it’s truly amazing how he manages to bounce back from injuries and be just as, if not more, athletic as he was as a rookie.
