Giveaway: adidas DRose Jersey

It’s officially official: Derrick Rose is this season’s Most Valuable Player. He earned the award by leading his team to the No. 1 seed in the East and putting up 25 points, 7.7 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game.

    As a Bulls fan that went through the dynasty years in the 90′s and then through the years when they won just 15-20 gems a year, this whole year has been just unreal for me as a fan. 62-20, who would have thought that this team would have done that? And it’s due in large part to Derrick Martell Rose. He carried this team all season due to injuries to Boozer and Noah and never beat his chest or flap his gums about being the best; he let his game do the talking by putting up the numbers he put up. When he won the MVP award, I was in my car and all I could do was yell and do the Tiger Woods fist pump. Thang God my windows are tinted becuase I know I would have probably been admitted into a mental institution and not typing this had anyone actually seen me. Then, the 1.7% popped up in my mind. That was the percentage the Bulls had of getting that #1 pick; 1.7%. And three years later that #1 pick is getting the MVP. For me, it made me happier for Rose getting his first than when Jordan got his five becuase those lean years after he left and becuase we had a 1.7% chance of getting Rose in the first place.

    I knew I could continue to work hard and pratice everyday I could pursue my dream in Basketball I knew I wanted to represent him at my senior Prom in Kalamazoo Michigan at Kalamazoo Central High School. Unfortunately there has been a back order for Swingman Jerseys and my Prom is this friday. So I will not be attending prom do to my seamstress the designer for Luvlawear.com could not get it in.     When Derrick Rose was announced MVP, I realized that i should go to the store and buy some bread. After a hour or so, after i had eaten my sandwiches emotions started to show.. The sandwich had tasted better than usual, the sun was shining brighter than normally. Than it hit me, Derrick Rose had won the MVP award. And it had brought something different to my world. For a second all the LJ, KB and DW rumours and speculations stopped for at least for me. Congrats to D.Rose for MVP and best of luck for the finals.

    When Derrick Rose was announced MVP,I totally knew at the beginning of the first few games in the season that he was going to win it and that I just had to wait for the official announcement. But most importantly after I heard the announcement I told my classmates that D-Rose just showed you that with hard work and team play we would achieve success in our basketball team and that we just have to keep playing our best at every game that we play.

I was a little distraught that my boy KD didnt get it but hes the shooting champ (Back to back baby!). DRose deserved the award and obviously worked from the beginning of the season to achieve it. NO BULL!
