Polladaday: Lakers Trade?

After the Lakers’ loss last night, tons of speculation is flying around regarding who’s on their way out of L.A. Which guy should the front office be looking to move ASAP?

    If they’re gonna chase Dwight, they might as well trade Bynum, and they could probably settle for 50 cents on the dollar too. The guy is always hurt.

    It all really depends on what we get in return. If we chase down Howard then Bynum should be our key asset for the Magic. I honestly believe we should keep Lamar tho, picking up D12 and putting him down at the 4 is perfect if we can trade Pau for an Iguodala like player or solid point guard.

    bynum and/or artest is the only logic move. as long as they have kobe huge contract they are not flexible enough (for cp3) on free agents

    orl should take bynum cuz they’re most likely gonna lose dwight to free agency.
    so instead of having a gaping hole at the 5 spot why not do a sign and trade and get bynum in return.

    I think we need an athletic point guard. Sure the bigs sucked this playoffs, but they are capable of dominating. Fisher is a great veteran presence but not a starting Pg for a championship team.

    Get rubio. Since fish is gone and Phil’s not there they can maybe run their offense a little bit. I dunno maybe Bynum for Rubio and Anthony Randolph then move Randolph and barnes for Oden. They could start Pau Lamar Ebanks Kobe Rubio. Artest and Oden off the bench for defense or maybe I play 2k11 too much.

    Stll in shock the Lakers are gone!! This sucks!! Only keep Kobe and trade all the others away!! This really hurts, I can’t imagine what Kobe is going through right now but my heart goes out to him! Laker 4 Life!! Kobe!!

    The Magic are going to trade and get Chris Paul. It was close to happening before, and it will happen soon.

    Why tha hell is everyone saying get andre? He is not all that and Howard? No. I would take Gasol and Bynum over Howard anyday. All tha starters should stay, and clean out tha bench. Odom can stay too but its crazy how people are writing off Gasol, Odom and Bynum

    Maybe only kobe is safe if they can get the right peices in return,get rid of bynum or bynum and pau for D12 move LO to the starting 4, try get igoudala or who ever said rudy gay good shout because the lakers have no athletecism out on the wing and kobe aint getting any younger. Love D-Fish but he should come off the bench or join the coaching staff soon if they could get jameer nelson or another solid atrting PG they would be ncie but what happened this year was alot of teams improved through free agency/trades or just with their group of guys and the Lakers thought they could coast and get by. They are too big a ball club and have too huge a market not to have a team that will always be there though so I guess theyll make the relevant changes!

    As much as Bynum’s play has impressed me down the stretch of the season, you’d have to be out of your mind not to trade him for Howard in a heartbeat.

    Pau is in a slump- I’ll admit I’ve never been his biggest supporter, but he will bounce back. Trade for Dwight and, if possible, J.J Reddick- as these playoffs have shown, 3-point shooting is a major weakness for the Lakers at this point.

    As long as Kobe’s on the roster, the Lakers are going to run the triangle. An offensive-minded point guard is not only unnecessary, but counterproductive. Given his past with the team, Fisher deserves to stay until he retires (which, hopefully, is soon).

    If the Magic ‘know’ Dwight is going to walk – dropping out of the first round can do that to a man…. then they will settle for anything/anyone in return (for as close to value as they can get).

    I feel the Lakers should go for a Bynum for Howard trade with the Mgic. I love Bynum’s game, but when I watch him I just can’t shake the feeling that he could go down w/ injury at any moment. Plus there is no way Howard is re-upping w/ the Magic, so they need to get something back for him instead of losing him to free agency a year from now.

    Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum for Dwight Howard and Hedo Turkoglu. The Lakers have to “do a favor” to the Magic and take on Hedo’s contract just to get enough leverage to get Dwight. Just my two cents.

    Why did the lakers ever get rid of DJ Mbenga?!..joking aside, the Lakers don’t “need” any of the superstars that people above dream of – nor do they need to offload any of their current players.. New young PG for Fisher to mentor in his final years; Brain Shaw/Rick Adeleman as coach; constant reminders all season of how this playoffs ended; and then we are back here next year with the chance of a different outcome
