Stephen Curry Had Ankle Surgery

Curry, who’s had ankle issues throughout his short NBA career, went under the knife to repair his right wheel. From the AP: “Warriors guard Stephen Curry had surgery on his right ankle but is expected to be ready by training camp in the fall. The Warriors said Wednesday the surgery was performed by Dr. Bob Anderson in Charlotte, N.C. Curry missed eight games last season because of multiple sprains on his right ankle.”

Hope to see him 100% for 82+

His ankle still hurts from that Eric Gordon crossover? Thats crazy.

I think his ankle was hurt before Gordon’s nasty crossover……

Get well soon man! Hope he’s fully healed by the start of the season.

Gordon is half the player Curry is.

  • Letmetellu

^^^ u sound stupid. Their stats are nearly identical. And id still take gordon cause he’s bigger with a properly functioning ankle thats not susceptible to cross-overs.

  • JL

maybe ektio can sign him up to be a spokes person lol.

  • Bill Sunday

you sound stupid? haha great way to make yourself sound legible. Steph Curry is a far better passer/shooter/point guard than Eric Gordon.

  • Letmetellu

^^^Well aparently Coach K and his 2 olympic gold medals dont agree with you. Eric Gordon helped our country win a gold medal while Stephen Curry passed out cups of gatorade.

  • Bill Sunday

Eric Gordon was also a benchwarmer… You and I both know Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose won those medals for the U.S.

  • Letmetellu

He came off the bench with 8 ppg. He clearly outplayed chauncey throughout the entire tournament. The only reason Eric didnt start is because Chauncey coming off the bench would have been disrespectful considering the verteran leadership he brought to the team. What was stephen team usa stat line?

  • Bill Sunday

4 points a game with 2 assists…. thats 2 more assists than eric gordon Which basically evens out there ppg

  • Bill Sunday

Chauncey had 11 more points and 23 more assists than Eric Gordon…. and you say Gordon clearly outplayed Chauncey?

  • Letmetellu

How do we account for his 36% shooting? And he only got in the games after the winner was clearly determined. Eric Gordon was clearly the thrid best player on the team. Thats exactly why he took Stephen’s spot in the rotation

  • Letmetellu

Chauncey shot 31% from the field. It was a lid on the rim everytime the ball left his hands. He ONLY had 11 more points? That shows how beastly Eric was with limited mins

^^Letmetellu is a retard. Forget stats, even though Steph had better stats over 7 key cats. Curry has the potential to be a Hall of Fame player. Gorgon is good but he doesn’t have that potential. Your Olympic observation is weak. Danny Granger is way better than Gordon and he played less.

  • Letmetellu

^Your just spitting out unsubstantiated nonsense right now. At least me and bill were having a fact based conversation. Curry hasnt even made a all star team your calling him a HOF’er? Im done here.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Waylonakolipse

^^ Retard I said POTENTIAL HALL OF FAMER. Learn to read. This is based on the fact that Curry virtually no current pg, outside of Nash, have stats like Curry. The only player in the NBA to avg 18+ ppg, 1.5 spg, 5+apg, 45%+ FG%, 44%+ 3FG%, 93%+ FT%. Only 2 time MVP Hall of Fame lock Steve Nash has had numbers like that in the last 20 years stupid.

  • Young Money

@waylonakolipse did you just put Stephen Curry and Hall of Fame in the same sentence? D Rose is a potential hall of famer…Steph is a potential all star. Now quietly dismiss yourself from the site.

  • rich

actually jennings was the one who broke his ankle litterally first his behind the back move caused him to leave the game and not return. hes prolly laughing his ass off right now

  • rich

curry will need higher assist numbers and some wins, i see what u mean about the potential tho because he does seem like he has some things to pick up and he does have room to improve his athletic ability

  • huh

Making the all star is a dam joke..

  • Bill Sunday

Word @huh. The All Star team is not the best players in the league anymore… its just like little league all stars… pick the favorites
