Erik Spoelstra Will Try to Involve LeBron James More in Game 5

The Miami Heat’s head coach had no answers for LeBron’s disappearing act in Game 4, but promises to find a way to get his superstar in the flow of the offense on Thursday night. From the Star-Telegram: “And this Heat team again basically slapped paddles on this Mavs team. And leading the charge was LeBron James, who failed to deliver on anything resembling DeShawn Stevenson’s level, much less Dirk’s. ‘I’ll have to look at the film,’ said Heat coach Erik Spoelstra. ‘I’d like to get him involved,’ Spoelstra continued. ‘He’s a very important piece of what we do. We’ll work to make it easier for next game.’”

they run the offense through the guy over half the time. how much more involved can he be?

Lebron has the balls in his hand on every play. Just be aggressive and shoot the ball. Just think WWRwD….WHAT WOULD Russel westbrook do!

There is a wedge in-between labron an dwade I’ve been watching their body language an it doesn’t look good wade is trying to win MVP of the finals so bad that their relationship has totally splintered

ByeBye, I didn’t catch any of that, but I wasn’t paying attn to the huddle. I honestly thought that was just them trying to stay focused, after that overblown celebration-gate nonsense the media made up.

Then run some plays for him Spoe! Close games come down to coaching and I don’t see you doing much if that from you.

last night was so not Spo’s fault. at all.

@BYEbye, not so fast, DW3 is just going Alpha. I would counter your assessment by saying LBJ’s inability to find a comfort zone on offense has forced DW3 to take the burden on himself which has their relationship “totally splintered” (c’mon let’s not be overly hyperbolic). What is Spo supposed to do, walk out on the court and physically put LBJ in the right spots. Dude is more than capable on his own. This is same guy that was flexing after plays, poppin his gums out, mean-muggin and so-on, but now it’s DW3′s and Coach Spo’s fault he ain’t risin’ to the occasion. I’m not buyin it and right now the only thing splintered is LBJ’s rep…

actually, i take back my comment somewhat. in games 1, 2, and 3, bron played 45, 39, and 45 minutes. against chicago, he played 41, 45, 44 49, and 46. i said it’s not spo’s fault b/c it’s not in terms of x’s and o’s, but that’s a lot of minutes that bron’s been playing, and that’s on spo.

bron just dont know how to brake down zone like dwade.he always has the ball and cant even manage to drive and get foul or shot the guy gave up on his team.
