Tough news for the Sacramento Kings’ forward Jason Thompson, who will be out of action due to a broken right big toe. The Sac Bee reports: “The Kings announced that X-rays taken Wednesday at UC Davis Sports Medicine Clinic on forward Jason Thompson show a fracture in his right big toe. Thompson will wear a walking boot for four to six weeks before being re-evaluated. In four weeks, the NBA could be in the midst of a lockout, meaning Thompson would not have access to team doctors. Thompson did not return a phone call for comment but tweeted that he had been lifting weights in a gym and working out in a pool with his strength and conditioning coach.”
