Polladaday: Lockout Coming?

Things between the owners and players are getting worse and worse. Are we on our way to another lockout, or will these guys figure it out before it comes to that?

Are we headed for a lockout?

Yes we are. It needs to be done. The players want to act like they are immune from the recession while their organizations lose money.

That’s a hideously narrow-minded article. It fails to mention how it is the OWNERS who sign the players to the contracts they whine about. How is it the players’ fault for wanting to honor the contract that management gave them? Not to mention, if teams truly are hemmorhaging money as they claim, explain Amir Johnson’s or Brendan Haywood’s contracts. Actually, I’ll let Slam’s own Kyle Stack do it because he has research to back it up.
