  I just saw an episode of that lady cop show where they put a young brother in jail for having a trace of weed on some scissors in his house. The young dude had his future jeopardized for his crime. The same cops were called right after to a call about a drunk wrecking a convenience store. The drunk lady scared the store owner, threatened him, fell down and knocked stuff over, hit her head on a curb, walked into traffic, pulled down her pants on the sidewalk and pi&&ed everywhere, and…the cops let her go. — They don’t serve and protect anymore. They just process legalities. A legalistic society don’t understand justice at all.

  As much as I like Beasley and think marijuana should be legal I just CANNOT defend this sort of stupidity. As much as weed really isn’t a big deal, a professional athlete still shouldn’t be smoking it. Some team is going to steal him again now. It wouldn’t put me off dealing for him at all but DAMN he needs to get some better friends.

  It’s idiotic to smoke while being an ATHLETE because I’m sure it’s unhealthy for cardiovascular endurance. Don’t get me wrong, I think marijuana should be decriminalized, but I think it’s dumb to smoke anything (unless it’s a cigar for celebration or something)while not being retired.

  i wouldnt say performing athletics while high is a good idea personally, some ppl can do it, but smoking after a long day of training is an awesome way to relax and hardly affects the cardiovascular. It also depends on how much you are smoking. Ive been fighting for ten years, smoking for 8, and there hasnt been a fall off in my performance since i started. Its better then drinking, no hangover
