Michael Beasley Cited For Marijuana Possession and Speeding


Some unfortunate news out of Minnesota, as KARE 11 is reporting TWolves forward Michael Beasley was cited for marijuana possession and speeding last week: “Minnetonka Police say Minnesota Timberwolves forward Michael Beasley was cited for marijuana possession and speeding in Minnetonka last week. Beasley was pulled over on June 26 for speeding around 3 a.m. on Interstate 394 and Carlson Parkway. He was clocked at 84 mph in a 65 mph zone. Police also found 16.2 grams of marijuana in Beasley’s vehicle. Both offenses are petty misdemeanors which will result in fines.”

    i wouldnt say performing athletics while high is a good idea personally, some ppl can do it, but smoking after a long day of training is an awesome way to relax and hardly affects the cardiovascular. It also depends on how much you are smoking. Ive been fighting for ten years, smoking for 8, and there hasnt been a fall off in my performance since i started. Its better then drinking, no hangover

    Stupid decision, with Derrick Williams on the team, Beasley is outta there. If he had kept his nose clean he could have been the face of the franchise, and quite possibly an All-Star, after the exodus of All-Star players to the East. But it’s time to admit he’s beyond redemption and is going to be another Al Harrington.

    Lol, how you gonna say I’m stupid when I actually DO play better when I’m high? I dont know what it is, maybe the fact that it calms me down, thus slowing the game down.

    Now, Mike is an idiot for driving that fast with Weed in the whip, but not for smoking. I’m not giving him a pass on the ticket, but for smoking? Its not that big of a deal – unless you believe those stupid ass weed commercials where they’re so high they speed out of a drive through and crash into a random little girl on a bike. That’s misinformation.

    I don’t know about that verse Philo, but in moderation of course the good Lord does not care if one partakes. He most likely expected humans to need something to relieve the stress of this earth we dwell in. Sorry went a lil Philo myself there. Juk’s aren’t you Asian?
