Sasha Vujacic Signs with Turkish Club

Following the lead of his Nets teammate Deron Williams, Sasha Vujacic has officially inked a deal to play in the Euroleague next season with Efes Istanbul: “Anadolu Efes Istanbul improved its backcourt for the upcoming season by inking shooting guard Sasha Vujacic to a one-year deal and an option for another, the club announced on Friday.”

    Why everyone hate on the machine? Since when is a hard working roll player with defensive tenacity and a nice jumpshot a villain? The league is weird these days, or maybe it’s just the basketball knowledgeof the fans that has gone rapidly gone down hill, guys like Sasha (and ther are a lot of them) MAKE this league.

    he did actually quite well for my Nets this year. But in all honesty: with Anthony Morrow and MarShon Brooks at SG, his time with the Nets was done.

    @tomtom well said. I’ve always been a fan of the machine. Can always count on him to bust his ass and get under the skin of his opponents

    @ Waggle Yes, lets not forget when “The Machine” threw an elbow at Goran Dragic in game 6 of the WTC with the Lakers vs Suns almost forcing a game 7. You’re right about him getting under the skin of his opponents.

    Sasha a baller, just not enough PT on world class Lakers, 2 rings, and played on the Lake Show…I’d say he’s done well.
