NOT OLD SCHOOL, BUT STILL GOOD. SHOUT OUT TO LIL KEKE FOR THE FREESTYLE, WHERE THE HOOK CAME FROM. OFF THE SCREWTAPE ‘THE FINAL CHAPTER’.

  • http://thahiphopcorner.com Kevin

RIP Pimp C. Sweet Jones b**ch! Never thought i’d see something like this posted on here. Still cant believe he passed away. A true legend

  • http://www.boogiewilliams.com Boing Dynasty

Seriously, i cant believe the guy who drank cough syrup everyday, and smoked pcp and stolled thru the shopping mall in broad day with an AK47 under his fur coat, in the summer, in Texas, is dead. Also a pretty horrible rapper to boot. RIP all the same, i guess.

  • http://64dollacologne.tumblr.com/ cramzy

long live sweet jones! 64 dolla cologne b****

  • http://thahiphopcorner.com Kevin

Boing Dynasty can eat a 1,000 wee-wees and die. Word to the Pimp himself

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Not a big fan, but UGK were kinda nice.
“Pocketful of Stones” and “One Day” still get heavy airplay on my ipod.

  • http://cnbc.com JTaylor21

“UGK were kinda nice”, word? So you consider Jay-Z one of the GOATs but UGK’s….. kinda nice?

  • http://thahiphopcorner.com Kevin

I still say Bun B and Pimp C both had better verses on Big Pimpin than Jay-Z did btw

  • WishUWould247

I love Pimp C but Boing Dynasty has a slight (very slight) point. Pimp C was wild but still respect the deceased. And he was a Legend.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

    Word.
    Kinda nice.
So now you think Pimp C (RIP) and Bun B could hang on the mic with Jay-Z?
    F*ck outta here!
Your southern bias is showing on that one.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

And I meant that at JTyaylor, not Kevin.

  • Kilo

Pimp C was average. Bun, however put out one of the best albums to come out of the South in some years not too long ago with Trill OG. But he is not Jay Z not in even close.

  • HAMMER

Jigga, early younger Jigga, would put both Bun B and the late Pimp C, 2 shame. And that’s no diss towards UGK n any way shape or form. UGK is one of the best duos ever, but I wouldn’t say they the greatest either. Anyways, this song got me feelin for Three Six Mafia’s “Sippin on some syrup”.

  • http://gmail.com z

Ya’lls taste in hip hop is funny.

  • HAMMER

^ “Funny how? Like were clowns? Were here 2 f√¢kin amuse you? Tell me how. How the f√¢k are we funny?! Tell me!”

  • http://cnbc.com JTaylor21

Enigmatic, well your east coast bias is showing. Oh wait…….you’re not from the east coast, it must be your “blinded by money and record sales” bias. Please, go and listen to “Big Pimpin” one more time and peep UGK steal the spotlight on Jigga man’s track.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

LMAO. I’m reminded of that scene every time I see that Snickers commercial with dude.
“OH! They must be SUPERMODELS! What do you model, GLOVES?!”

  • HAMMER

    Word. Haha! Joe Pesci baby.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

    LMAO!
“Blinded by money and record sales” bias?
Hmm…so who’s albums are selling right now?
    Let me see…
    Drake? WACK.
    Lil Wayne? WACK.
    Nicki Minaj? WACK.
Wale? Meh…had a spark when he started, but now he’s just garbage.
Wiz Khali-whatever the f*ck? Never even heard one song by dude, but I’m sure he’s WACK.
    Ace Hood? Who?
    Pitbull? WACK
Gucci Mane? See “Wiz Khali-whatever the f*ck”.
OK, now let me put my ipod on “shuffle” and see who the first 10 cats are –
    1. OC – “The Crow”
    2. Brand Nubian – “A Child is Born”
    3. Gang Starr – “Work”
    4. Atmosphere- “Modern Man’s Hustle”
    5. Benefit – “So Sick”
    6. Ed OG – “Guns Still Hot”
    7. Little Brother – “Let it Go”
    8.Wu Tang – “Tearz”
    9. Big Pun – “You Ain’t a Killa”
    10. Praverb – “Freedom to Prevail”
Damn, man! You’re right! I gotta stop listening solely to dudes that live on Billboard’s charts and expand my horizons a little!
I could care less about record sales.
In fact, I’ve been called a “hater” on here multiple times just cause I’m not feeling these mainstream cats.
But like Immortal Technique said, “cause if your album went platinum it’s got nothing to do with luck/it just means a million people are stupid as f*ck”.
But like Common said, “if I don’t like it, I don’t like it, that don’t mean that I’m hating…”

  • Heals

Enigmatic, you didn’t know Benefit was tearing up the Billboard top 40 right as we speak…

  • HAMMER

Enigmatic. U 4got ‘Lil Wayne. His @ss trying 2 b a singer with his latest crap. Man he’s annoying!

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Nah, I called out Lil’ Wayne.
Everyone on my Twitter timeline going on about The Carter IV. In my opinion, that’s 3 Carters too many.
The first one was aight, now dude is just horrible.
    Best rapper alive? HA!

  • HAMMER

Oh yeah. My bad man. Just overall laziness n many so called “rap artists” these days. People r so easy to please when it comes to rap music. Just give theme a dope beat, a wack chorus, and they good. Calling it the best sh!t ever. F√¢k that!

  • http://cnbc.com JTaylor21

Yawn!!!!! Also I love how you conveniently left out Jay-Z (top of the charts with WTT).
OK, now let me put my ipod on “shuffle” and I bet you can’t top these cats:
    1. Jake Owen – “Barefoot Blue Jean Night”
    2. Kenny Chesney- “You And Tequila”
    3. Rodney Atkins – “Take A Back Road”
    4. Jerrod Niemann – “One More Drinkin’ Song”
    5. Trace Adkins – “Just Fishin’”
    6. Billy Currington – “Love Done Gone”
Ain’t nothing mainstream or “cool” about these guys but that don’t mean they don’t make better music than your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper.

  • http://slamonline.com LakeShow

Ewww. Really JTaylor wtf. Enig, Wiz Khalifa is kinda dope imo. Everyone else you listed you got right. WACK.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

JTaylor, we’re talking strictly rap. Or so I thought.
I had no idea you were into country. Props. I love me some country too.
BUT Kenney Chesney and Trace Adkins are mainstream as hell.
Come on now, how many CMA Entertainer of the Year awards has Chesney copped?
    I don’t care, I’m still a fan. Just saying.
But if you wanna do all genres, that’s cool.
Let me see, first six non-rap on my ipod –
    1. Offspring – “Gone Away”
    2. Bob Dylan – “Knocking on Heaven’s Door”
    3. George Straight – “I Cross My Heart”
    4. Led Zeppelin – “When the Levee Breaks”
    5. Kenny Rogers – “Coward of the County”
    6. R.E.M. – “Nightswimming”

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Tracy Chapman, Edwin McCain, Cowboy Junkies, Brandi Carlisle, Ben Folds, man just too many to name, they all get heavy airplay on my ipod too.
I listen to all kinds of music, man.

  • http://slamonline.com Tae

This dude Kevin said they had better verses on Big Pimpin! Ha im no Jay z fan but he had tha better verses. But i have to admit, Wayne’s better albums r behind him. Some of tha stuff he drops now is fire, but Tha Block is Hot, Lights Out, 500 Degrees>>>>current music

  • http://cnbc.com JTaylor21

Enigmatic, yep. I like to widen my horizons by listening to different types of music. Especially when I’m riding by myself, I like to pop in a little Anita Baker “You Bring Me Joy” or some Al Green “Pretty Woman”. It puts my mind at ease, I might go crazy if I listen to rap 24/7.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

    I’m the same way.

  • Detroit Dave

    Remixed Verse

“David Stern and the Union still aint talkin’, money talks all the bullSh!t get the walkin”

  • fruizm

    @Enigmatic…..WORD, but no CORMEGA???

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

    Cormega’s my dude!
Nah, I got at least 50 or so of his songs, from The Realness, The Testament, The True Meaning, and his new joint mostly.
He just didn’t happen to pop up on my ipod right then and there. Lol

  • http://www.boogiewilliams.com Boing Dynasty

Love that “layup lines” almost always guarentees that Enigmatic is going to make a numbered list about somthing.

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Led Zeppelin makes me mad… Like a white version of Boing Dynasty.

  • SKITTLESO5

the BEST RAPPER ALIVE is Big Krit, doesnt have a bad song “hometown hero”, “children of the world”, “Dreamin”, “somedayz”, “Rotation”, “the vent”, “Highs and lows”….just off the top, if you havnt heard him check him out
