Amar’e Stoudermire, Ricky Rubio to Play in Drew Gooden’s Charity Game

Drew Gooden’s charity game was only able to draw one A-List NBA star (and Ricky Rubio!), but the exhibition will be played on behalf of a good cause. Per CSN: “Rosters have been finalized for Drew Gooden’s Make-A-Wish charity basketball game, which is set for Sunday, Nov. 20, in San Francisco. Gooden, a Bay Area native who played at El Cerrito High School, is currently playing for the Milwaukee Bucks. Scheduled to play in the game are the following NBA players: Gooden, Amare Stoudemire, Eric Gordon, Dorell Wright, Anderson Varajao, Keith Bogans, Nick Collison, Joakim Noah, Leon Powe, Marquis Daniels, DeMar DeRozan, Al Harrington, Ricky Rubio, Jason Terry, Jordan Hamilton, Arron Afflalo, DeShawn Stevenson, Shawn Marion.”

    Weird group of players.

I think the bigger story is that Kevin Durant ISN’T playing in this game. It seems like he is at every other charity or pickup game, he must have some crazy frequent flyer miles by now.

I think sub par players should stop throwing charity games. and i hope rubio is a giant bust, so waiting for someone to send him back to spain permanently
