LeBron, Wade, Bosh, Haslem Worked Out Together for a Week

Just because the Miami Heat can’t hold official team practices these days, doesn’t mean the squad’s biggest stars can’t work out together. The Sun-Sentinel looks into week-long workouts between LeBron, DWade, Chris Bosh and Udonis Haslem: “Tuesday, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Udonis Haslem completed a week of workouts at Nike’s Beaverton, Ore., campus. The four are expected to also participate at each of the four stops on the upcoming ‘Homecoming Tour’ of NBA lockout charity games that begins with an event hosted by James Dec. 1 at the University of Akron. The workouts came in the wake of James spending time in London, where he granted an interview with The Guardian that included his views on where he and the Miami Heat are headed after coming up two victories shy of a championship in last season’s NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks. ‘I’ve got years left in my career to build, I guess, my individual legacy, if that’s what they want to call it,’ James, 26, said in the interview. ‘But, right now, it’s all about building my team’s legacy. How can we continue to get better and to approach the game in the right way during a championship playoff. One year in, we gave ourselves a chance and we’re looking forward to the next one. For me, I just want to give myself the best opportunity to win games.’”

I’m sure there will be a parade of haterliscious comments about how this is “so stupid” and “against the rules!”.

E: i’ve seen pictures of those workouts and bosh finally got his weight up (and then some) to his 24-11 toronto days. i fully expect UD to play 30 minutes a night next to chris bosh this season. hopefully. hopefully a decent starter will be acquired and joel anthony can go back to the 6-to-8-minute-a-game energy guy that he truly is.

The reason this is “so stupid” is because it should be the whole team working out together not just the suppose big stars. Dallas showed Miami it takes a team, not 3 or 4 players to win a ring. BOOK IT!!

Heat are still missing a decent PG and Center… Make it happen Pat

As Seed does…..well everytime he ever leaves a comment…is shows his common and unbridled stupidity. The reason in this case? Because, Man With His Finger on The Prostate of the Black Mamba, these guys are 4 of maybe 6-7 definitive returning players whenever this cancerous lockout ends, the others being Joel Anthony, Mario Chalmers (who’s in Alaska) and Mike Miller. Besides them, the rest of the roster will be filled with cheap vets. So yes, the core of a championship contending team that will contend again, is out there trying to perfect chemistry. There’s a reason why the Lakers are afterthoughts now, dipsh*t. They’re old and their chemistry su*ks worse than your commenting. Now go prepare a turkey for Thanksgiving and make believe you’re giving Bean a full cavity search as you stuff it. Happy Thanksgiving.

Ebay……Whats the point of them working together, Lebron is working with KD to improve his shooting, he is working on his agility playing flag football and his Hebrew guru advisor is helping him make decisions about his fiances in another language. Lakers are ready, Kobe is rested and we will see if the NBA returns. My comment was meant as showing this team is still about themselves. Lebron and Wade fell the HEAT, so practicing together is a waste of time. Lebron go work on post moves, Wade go learn how to be a leader with Lebron on your team, Bosh get a back bone/demand post feeds and Haslem keep shooting foul line jumpers and continue being happy taking millions of less dollars to play with your friends. I wouldn’t. BOOK IT!!

There is a Lockout this year, none of this MATTERS! They are working out for London 2012. They will forget whatever workout they did with each other when the season starts next year. Carry on.

    Lakers arent even working out.

Hate the Heat, but what’s wrong with just the stars working together?

That’s what being comitted is all about, even though the lock-out is in full swing these guys are looking into the future and working on there chemistry so when this stupid lock-out ends, the last thing they will have to worry about is where and how to connect with each other when they are on the court together.
