Report: Allen Iverson Planning 4-Game Barnstorming Tour


Allen Iverson had to cancel his previous exhibition game showcase, but according to ESPN‘s Chris Palmer, The Answer didn’t totally give up on the idea: “Allen Iverson planning a four-game barnstorming tour which will include stops in Atlanta and Las Vegas.”

    Is it me or these charity games / world tours starting to look like a bad idea, how long till someone really hurts themselves? are the hosts of these tours gonna pay them lost wages if they get hurt?

    Better chance of being hurt playing in China (JR Smith) than one of these charity games. Everyone complains, but that’s why they don’t play hard nosed defense in those games! Better to score 175 points and walk off the court!

    It would be nice to see what AI still has left in the tank. I wonder why he doesn’t show up for some of the other players charity games. Gooden certainly could have used him to sell more tickets.

    He doesn’t show up because he doesn’t get invited.
