Photos: Christmas With Chris

Santa Bosh gives back to the community.

Yesterday, Miami Heat big man Chris Bosh brought the holiday spirit to 100 children with the 2nd Annual “Christmas With Chris Bosh” in Miami. Bosh and his non-profit organization, Team Tomorrow Inc., brought Christmas to 100 kids from Big Brothers Big Sisters Miami, After School All Stars, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami and Chapman Partnerships. Santa Bosh was on hand to take them to Game Time Arcade for dinner and fun and surprised each child with a Nike shopping spree. Founded by Bosh, “Team Tomorrow” supports community-based organizations that promote the upliftment of children, families and the community. Above are images from the fun-filled day in South Beach.

too bad he gets picked on so much. he’s clearly the most likable player on the heat (of the stars at least).

Good stuff for the most part, but there’s something a little sick about hooking kids on Nike under the pretense of charity. What exactly is that teaching them? It reminds me of Marlo Stanfield handing out hundred-dollar bills to middle school kids in The Wire, or parents taking their kids out for Happy Meals as a reward for good behavior. Sure, it’s what makes them happy (for the time being), but is that really where they need their happiness from?

Nice he’s giving back. I don’t even know why people hate on him he seems to be a nice guy.

@Teddy…are you actually being serious? What would you prefer he does for them? People like you make me sick to the stomach, who the f*** do you think you are dude? Show some respect instead of looking down your nose at everything and everyone in life, especially when they are doing something good for children. I do apologize if this article offends you – I often forgot about all the amazing things you have done for kids in your life. Nice work.

What Chris Bosh and Team Tomorrow did for those kids was GREAT! We need more people like him in our community.
