The owners and Stern bot put up all of this fuss about money and now this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As if one playoff appearance in 18 years or whatever it is doesn’t make it hard enough to be a Warriors fan, now they do this?

Chandler ain’t Ben Wallace! The Knicks didnt ‘massively’ overpay for TC, a la the Bulls a couple years ago with Ben.
Theres not a lot of old school centers like him left in the L.
He puts up 10 and 10 and is a straight up professional.
$58Mil / 4yrs – sounds like another shrewd Donnie Walsh move to me.

Time for Dan Gilbert write a letter about this ridiculous signing.

  • RedRum

KB’s agent must be the worlds most persuasive person. If he can get this guy 7mil, I send the cat to the middle east and he will resolve the whole thing in a couple of minutes

  • http://slamonline.com KJ

Hey look its just for one year and he isnt that that bad. He averaged 8 pts and 7 rpg last season and does the dirty work for them. He and Dre are gonna be fighting for mins this year.

This isn’t a bad signing in terms of the depth of the team… it is a lot to be paying a big if he’s going to be the third string forward/centre…. i just hope they get Julian Kazzouh who’s trying with these guys from the SYDNEY KINGS!

  • BBaller

@ Darce, as a Sydney King regular don’t get your hopes up, Kazzouh has concrete boots,ie can’t jump for S%it, has no mid range, rebounds okay against 6″9 ers although can steal the ball with good hands, no passing ability, runs like a donkey and makes “soft” Gasol look like Superman. He should be happy to have a contract here in OZ.Poor ,Poor man’s Asik

  • Justin

@LA Huey…not only have they not read the agreement but they don’t read the other comments here either. Maybe if they read some of the comments, like Mike C’s or nbk’s about how GSW had to spend the money, then maybe they wouldn’t look like fools when they make an uneducated comment themselves

  • IAMORANGE4EVER

Let’s be real, the Dubs burned 7 million on Kwame Butterfingers Brown because they lost out on Tyson to the Knicks, and then DeAndre Jordan to the Clippers. Nene wasn’t walking through that door either. Right now their franchise isn’t in position to be choosy. It is what it is, and some people find it amusing the Kwame Brown is getting paid 7 million dollars. Hey, good for Kwame Brown and his family. He won the sports lottery, again. Lucky mofo.

  • IAMORANGE4EVER

*and some people find it amusing THAT Kwame Brown is getting paid 7 million dollars.
