Paul Pierce Doubtful for Season Opener?


Paul Pierce’s injured right heel may keep him on the sidelines for the Boston Celtics’ season opener. From the Boston Herald: “Paul Pierce had hoped to participate in practice [Tuesday] and play in [Wednesday] night’s preseason game against the Raptors. But now there are doubts as to whether he’ll be able to go against the Knicks on Christmas Day. Pierce’s bruised right heel acted up following a workout [Monday]. He won’t play [Wednesday] night, and he’s not expected to practice until Friday. ‘He felt good,’ Doc Rivers said. ‘We told him to go out and work. He did some one-on-one work with some of the guys, and his foot was extremely sore (yesterday). Hell, that’s just the way it rolls right now.’”

    As for the topic at hand, I’d be shocked if he played. Based on how the org has handled injury news recently and in the past the writings on the wall. I’m sure age has something to do with it, but I can’t think of any teams that even rival SA or Bos when it comes to being vague about injuries and their severity…

    It doesn’t make him not a pu$$y cause he got stabbed. I could get stabbed and i’d still be a wimp. Now if someone stabbed him and then he just said “I feel no pain, prepare to die punk” while he ran at him and punched his face into the ground that would make him bad ass. I can picture him wheeling around in the nightclub getting sympathy from everyone as he painfully pushes his chair through the crowd. Then outta no where some dude with a 8″ hunting knife comes at him and he jumps out of chair and runs as fast as he can away from him. Never, I repeat, NEVER should Paul Pierce be let off the hook for that wheel chair ploy. Absolute ridiculousness right there. I was embarrassed for Celtic fans when he did that.

It’s cool though, cause as spot hot said I’m just too sensistive so I’ll catch a Lifetime movie tonight and come up with some fresh material about Karl Malone and Kob’s ex-wife or that Colorado shht cause those stories are equally as relevant too.     Mos def and he still gets shht about it from teammates (especially Doc, Ticket and Shaq) and around the league. I’d put right there with Sasha crying when RayRay blew by him in finals for the game clincher, Kobe blowing up Shaq just cause he got caught or that photoshoot Mamba did where he was rocking those all-white outfits.     Yeah LakeShow that’s true about Bosh. How could he possibly take time off after having a bone in his face broken, blood coming out of his nose and mouth. What a wimp! And any joke about Paul Pierce is a good one, especially about the wheelchair. It never gets old
