Photos: Miami Heat Unveil All-Black Alternate Jerseys

Eastern Conference champs’ new look for ’11-12.

The Miami Heat will wear new, black-on-black alternate jerseys for about a dozen regular season games, starting this year. Any hopes LeBron had of shedding his villainous image are probably out the window with this one. Revealed on the Heat’s media day, these unis are darker, more serious, more Spurs-like. Get ready, Miami.

    doesnt seem like too many people are reading the message below the picture. It clearly states it looks like the Spurs Jersey.

    I dare people who are hating on jerseys, kicks or gear in period to jump into the design industry and see how easy it “should” be to design something.

    The black alternate jersey should have died with Michael’s Bulls. These are too generic. They have an all white jersey that would be nice as hell, except the refs probably couldn’t make out the numbers and it wouldn’t show up well on tv.

    WTF i remember they used to sell these online and at some stores. I had an all black Iverson Nuggets jersey and an all black Kobe jersey. I like them but come on son ya’ll coulda done better. I woulda bought one 7 years ago when jerseys were still cool

    c’mon. it doesn’t matter if you love them or hate them. but the heat fans will buy them. it’s marketing strategy. they wouldn’t make a red/black jersey again cuz they already had that. they need something different so the fans will collect them. my 2cents worth.
