Report: Stephen Jackson Unhappy in Milwaukee

Stephen Jackson has long bemoaned his contract situation in Milwaukee, and the complaints are only growing louder as the regular season looms. Reports the Racine Journal-Times: “Another Milwaukee Bucks’ practice, another Stephen Jackson absence. For the last several days, Jackson, whom the Bucks acquired in a blockbuster three-team trade last June, has been virtually a spectator during team workouts. Bucks officials said Jackson is experiencing back spasms and weren’t sure when he would return to practice. That may indeed be the case, but there are growing whispers that the 33-year-old Jackson isn’t content with his current contract. Jackson is the second-highest paid player on the Bucks this season at $9.26 million. Andrew Bogut is the highest paid Buck at $12.1M. Jackson is also guaranteed $10 million for next season. League sources said Jackson sought a contract extension last season from the Charlotte Bobcats and that was one of the primary reasons they shipped him to Milwaukee.”

If the bulls were smart, they would keep his ass right where he is. bulls cant afford to give him no contract extension and cause disruption to the team if it doesnt happen.

I am from Racine and those using Gary Woeful as their reference are not reputable. More errouneous stories, rumors, etc… have come fromhis desk the past couple of decades. Seriously. I have ax to grind with him nor hate him, but think he writes any rumor anyone tells him and get on sites like this. Sometimes he is accurate, but if you write everything you hear you will be right periodically. But really, he is maybe 20% correct at best.
