Report: Troy Murphy Signs with Lakers


Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Troy Murphy has signed a one-year deal with the L.A. Lakers to help bolster a front line that lost Lamar Odom to Dallas. According to Adrian Wojnarowski: “Troy Murphy has agreed to a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, a league source told Yahoo! Sports. Murphy joins Josh McRoberts as another versatile free agent forward to help partially negate the loss of Lamar Odom, who the Lakers traded to Dallas Mavericks. Murphy, 31, finshed his 10th season in the NBA on the Boston Celtics bench last season.”

    Murphy to LAL? bahahahaha .. what a stiff .. first play in a Celtic uniform last season was getting blocked by the rim on a dunk attempt. Should enjoy that at Staples ..
