The NBA Admitted that LeBron James Got Away With a Travel

Late in the Clippers/Heat game on Wednesday night, LeBron James committed a pretty blatant traveling violation, and bloggers everywhere yelped “J’accuse!!!” The NBA admitted that they were right: “Yes, LeBron should’ve been called for traveling on this play last night.”

it was crab dribble i dont know what you’re talking about

He tried to do the Up and Under move but you can only do that move when you make a jumpstop and not the 1-2 stop.
He jumped of 1 leg(step 1) and then 1-2 step(step 2 and 3) and then used his pivotfoot to go under the players. So it was clearly a travel. But ive seen a lot of legal Up and Under moves been called a travel and so many obvious travels not been called in the NBA. Half of them by Lebron

wow michelle your explanation was atrocious, you can do an up and under off a drop step, he shuffled his feet plain and simple.

Did they give him the bucket they didn’t count when he slammed on a Bobcats defender and it bounced off the dude’s head? Just curious.

  • neaorin

Yeah, just for that one they should have called a travel on him the next time down the court as well.

@dagger, i don’t think they gave him the 2 points, i think the ball actaully has to go through the net, and i don’t know if that is goaltending according to the rules

    NO footwork. yawn

  • Joe

No fundamentals! Not a ‘great passer’ as people call him, more like a willing passer if he had a fade away or solid mid-range hes be the GOAT I’m not even sure what his go-to move is! Oh yeah the shoulder drop! Im just a hater though he does get it done(just not in the fourth)

What’s even funnier in the video, is watching Chris Paul throw a tantrum immediately after the call.
