Gerald Henderson to Miss 2-4 Weeks With Strained Hamstring
The hapless Charlotte Bobcats are now even more hapless, as they’ll be without their leading scorer for up to a month. From the Observer: “On the heels of losing their 10th straight game, the Charlotte Bobcats have also lost their leading scorer. A magnetic resonance imaging confirmed Thursday that shooting guard Gerald Henderson suffered a strained right hamstring in Wednesday’s loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. The team projects he’ll miss anywhere from two to four weeks with the injury. Henderson is the Bobcats’ leading scorer this season, averaging 15 points per game off 46 percent shooting. With Henderson hurt, the Bobcats’ top three scorers – Henderson, point guard D.J. Augustin and small forward Corey Maggette – are all unavailable due to injury.”
