Karl Malone Wants to Be Jerry Sloan’s Assistant Coach Someday

Karl Malone doesn’t sound too thrilled with his former team the Utah Jazz, and says that should Jerry Sloan return to coaching in the NBA, he’d love to serve as an assistant coach. Reports the Deseret News: “On Karl coaching with the Jazz: ‘Oh no, no. We done been there. You can’t beat the fart out of a dead mule. Let’s pass on that. They ain’t gonna call. I think Coach Sloan will coach again in the NBA. Absolutely…I would love to [be an assistant coach], with Coach Sloan.’”

I bet that Deron Williams issue wouldn’t have happened the way it did if Jerry Sloan had Karl Malone last year.

“You can’t beat the fart out of a dead mule.” Today’s challenge is to use that phrase in a work conversation today and keep a straight face.
