Kobe Bryant: LeBron James Would Be the Ideal Teammate


While everyone else is busy arguing for their side of the Kobe/LeBron war, Bryant flips the script by saying that if he could choose any player in the NBA to team up with, it would be James. From ESPN Radio: “When pressed and asked if he would rather play with Orlando’s Dwight Howard or New Jersey’s Deron Williams, two players who have been linked to dozens of trade rumors this season, Bryant played along. ‘Give me both, how about that?’ Bryant said with a laugh. He also offered an answer that would be surprising to some when he was told he could pick any player in the league to join him to create the sport’s top duo. ‘It’s a tough question because I’ve played with a lot of great players being on the Olympic team,’ Bryant said. ‘I think that the player I would probably play with the most where the pieces would fit would be myself and LeBron [James], believe it or not, because he’s more of a facilitator and I’m more of a scorer. … He’s a modern version of what Oscar [Robertson] was. He just puts up genius numbers.’”

    If Lebron could do everything Kobe can do then he’ll have a lethal post game, delicious footwork and a mid range game and he can’t do none of that well. Learn your basketball……..Lebron is more athletic and stronger than MJ does that make him better!

    People think kobe and lebron hate each other…. but they don’t. They’re not even really rivals I feel like. and it’s a no-brainer that kobe and lebron would love to play with each other. Lebron’s the ultimate teammate… and kobe knows how to get ring. I think they’re playing styles kinda mesh. I even think kobe would be willing to pass to lebron more bc he clearly holds him in such high regard.

    It makes me sick how buddy buddy he nba is these days,you have superstars from teams like KD and KBJ working out together and players giving eachother way to much props. You would have never seen this from MJ Bird Magic and guys from those eras. Imagine magic ringing up larry and saying shall we team up at south beach . . . no way! Joakim Noah put it correctly when he said miami was hollywood as hell but the truth is the whole nba is going that way!

    LJ played for bums and led them to the finals. Lebron hasnt won a chip and still considered one of the best that ever played. Lebron is finally on a good team. at the end of his career count how many chips hell have then judge his career. Kobe been on good team after good team after good team and he a monsta thus he won the chips.     yup you can tell him everything and he does it. and you can do your thing in the 4th quarter when he’s only facilitating while thinking of some excuse he’s about to post on twitter that everybody hates him. LBJ should go all out sheed for the next 5 years, delete his twitter acount and at every press conference say both teams played hard. And after that go back and have fun in Cleveland when he has won a ring or two in Miami.
