Kyle Lowry to Miss 2-4 Weeks Due to Bacterial Infection

The Houston Rockets will be without Kyle Lowry’s valuable services for a few weeks because he’s fighting a bacterial infection. Per the Chronicle: “The news for the Rockets got much worse on Sunday than a few road losses. Guard Kyle Lowry, a key to their success in the first half of the season, was diagnosed with a bacterial infection and will be out for two to four weeks. Lowry had been hospitalized in New York since Thursday. He underwent a laparoscopic examination after complaining of fever and abdominal distress. He is scheduled to be discharged from the hospital to return to Houston on Tuesday.”

Guess this might nix any plans of a potential Gasol/Lowry-Scola trade. Enter the dragon not named Lin – Dragic!

The Dragic actually is putting up some great numbers for Houston replacing Lowry.
