The NBA.com boxscore for last night’s Sixers/Spurs game lists the reason for Tim Duncan’s absence from the contest as him being “old.” Perfect.

haha i think the spurs did something similar with horry back in the day
Coach Pop’s has always had a really good sense of humor. Remember when they instantly fouled at the start of one game when shaq was with the suns? poking fun at the hack-a-shaq?!?! then giving Shaq 2 thumbs up and laughing.
LOL Pop at it again! One of the best coaches in the league…
LOL, gotta love Pop.
Pop is a wild and crazy guy!
Great stuff. I love when someone can lighten up a serious sport a little bit.
I think I’ve seen Pop do that before but funny still!
One time they listed a player as DNP-Tummy Ache
Having some fun in the boxscore is always great.
Didnt know pop did on purpose. great stuff.
he totally need to win COTY just base on this alone.
more to come:
B. Diaw – DNP – FAT
S. Jackson – DNP – CRAZY
M. Ginobili – DNP – BALDING
this is hilarious!
They did that to Grant Hill a couple seasons ago for April Fools Day lol.
BWAHAHA! THAT WAS CRAZY FUNNY!
Love Pop! He’s a nut!
Not old anymore in the box score.
