Report: Los Angeles Lakers Interested in Raymond Felton

Raymond Felton may be having a terrible season, but there are whispers that the Lakers have inquired about his availability. Per CSNNW: “Los Angeles Lakers and the Portland Trail Blazers have had ‘exploratory talks’ regarding Trail Blazers’ guard Raymond Felton. According to the source, talks have been ongoing for weeks and it is likely to involve Lakers’ guard Steve Blake in the deal. CSNNW.com has also been told that terms of this potential deal “haven’t got off the ground” but it is one that is being considered by both sides. This season, Felton is suffering a career-low in points per game (9.7), field goal percentage (.368), three-point percentage (.246), and rebounds (2.1).”

with the way felton has been playing (badly) sure, give him to LA. make it easier for the thunder so my heat/thunder finals dreams can be realized.

  • RunNGun

David Kahn has a ton of point guards. KAHHHHHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNNN!

  • LA Huey

What would they give up? That 1st rounder they refused to part with for Beasley?

  • Rainman

He’s shown he can play in the past, sure bad season, under a bad fit with the wrong team, but maybe he’ll play well in LA LA land

  • Paul H

He would still be an upgrade over a middle-aged Derek Fish

  • Jay C

    WE WANT BEASLEY

  • robb

    ^^^^^^^
    we? You want Beasley

  • Gary Arakel

Raymond Felton is not a upgrade at PG position. If this deal went trough, I can guarantee you, that the Lakers are going to be out of the playoffs from the first round.D.J.Augustine, Ramon Sessions, Jose Calderon and Kyle Lowry are the guards we should trade for, not R.Felton.
Dr.Buss, where are you? Can’t you just take care of the business for one last time? It is obvious, your son does not have any idea of the NBA players and how to make this team better. Please do something beacause you are going to loss forever thousands of fans.

The Lakers would be wasting their time, money & draft picks for Beasley or Calderon…..Their no better than what we have now….
Sign Arenas at the vets minimum or give him a 10 day contract and watch that guy explode here in Los Angeles……He would coming home to where he grew up and would be desperately trying to prove his worth……We could still keep Bynum and Gasol and even if Arenas only returned to 75% of his former self we would be favorites to win it all in the N.B.A.

Sign Arenas & Rasheed Wallace at the vets minimum or give them 10 day contracts and watch Arenas explode here in Los Angeles……Arenas would coming home to where he grew up and would be desperately trying to prove his worth with the Lakers….So would Sheed….

    Please do this.

I could see them in the finals with Felton and if they get what they got from artest yesterday they will be a problem. Portland might trade him just to create cap room.

  • Stillballin

    Sign Allen iverson

  • Sonny

    Go get iverson!!!!!!

The best deal will be Goran and get rid-off Walton and bring a shooter ala Rudy Fernandez that is in limbo right now.
