Rip Hamilton Injured His Right Shoulder

According to CSN Chicago, Rip Hamilton’s right shoulder injury last night might keep the veteran guard out for quite some time: “The 13-year veteran suffered a right-shoulder injury after running into a Pacers player in the first quarter of the eventual blowout victory. Hamilton wasn’t available for comment after the game, but according to a source familiar with the situation, he left the arena with his right arm in a sling. The same source [said] that Hamilton apparently injured the ‘top’ of his shoulder and at least early on—he’ll be examined Tuesday—there’s little optimism about a quick return. ‘He collided and it’s his shoulder,’ Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau said afterwards. ‘He tried to shake it off and at first I thought it might be a stinger, but that wasn’t the case.’ [...] ‘I hope that Rip’s not too hurt. We know we need him to get to where we want to get to, but Ronnie Brewer was an animal out there tonight,’ Joakim Noah said before humorously adding, ‘Hopefully he’ll get some massages. We’ll call the African spirits and pray that he’s all right, and hopefully he’ll be back on the court soon.’”

I’m losing faith in Rip being able to stay healthy enough to help the Bulls.

He’s done. I was a die hard Rip fan but he’s to injury prone. When he does get better, how many games will he play before he gets hurt again. Time to make a play for Wilson Chandler. Look him up, he’s the answer.

dag bulls are certainly not getting their monies worth with just 16.1
games under his belt. he better get it on in time for playoffs, otherwise getting to the finals turns into getting to the top of mt. everest.

This guy shoulda stayed with the pistons , at least he’d get payed on the bench without running the risk of getting injured so damn often lol
