Isiah Thomas & Mike Woodson Met for Dinner Tuesday

Knicks fans are probably not going to like hearing this. Last night interim head coach Mike Woodson and former notorious head coach Isiah Thomas were spotted having dinner in Westchester after the Knickerbockers defeated the LA Clippers. Maybe it was just two long-time friends hanging out, but with Thomas currently unemployed and multiple reports stating that he’s looking to make his way back into the Knicks organization, this might be enough to make some Knicks fans feel uncomfortable or even nervous.  From the NY Post: “Knicks interim coach Mike Woodson and Isiah Thomas met for dinner Tuesday night in Westchester County, hours after Glen Grunwald got promoted as the permanent executive VP/GM, according to sources. Woodson, Thomas and Grunwald were teammates on the Indiana University basketball club for three seasons. Thomas, fired by Florida International earlier this month, is seeking employment and has lobbied hard with owner James Dolan to try to get back to the Knicks in some capacity. Woodson and Thomas were with their wives and could be seen chowing down on Italian food and wine at Serafina in White Plains. Thomas has kept his residence in Purchase and has been there since getting the boot. Woodson has been friends with Thomas a long time and will always be. Thomas also may have insight into the Heat, as Thomas has worked in Miami for three years.”

Isiah Thomas and the Knicks are just made for each other. Make it happen for pure humor sake.

Two politicians practicing politics. Nothing more, nothing less.

Thomas was seen leaving the restaurant with a wad of bills and Woodson was seen leaving with a booklet labeled “Miami Heat Plays.”

Doesn’t each team know everybody’s plays by now? I mean, isn’t that what they study film sessions for? I mean, this isn’t the Waterboy or anything.

@Caboose – That book would be three pages long: baseline iso, wing iso, pick and roll.

Only the Seed could make two ridiculous statements like that in one post. Greatest PG of all time (sorry, but it’s Magic and it’s not even close) and thinking bringing in Thomas is a great move. hahahahaha! What a moron

Please ZEKE, stay out of this..
Don’t bring any old practices from the last knicks era to this one here.

  • T-Money

frank isola has been reporting forever that zeke never truly left the organization. james dolan considers him as a friend and an advisor. he flew to cleveland to try to get lebron to ny, he talked to stat, he was in the melo deal… heck, dolan even tried to give him a job last year while he was still at fiu but stern blocked it.

Mike Woodson: Hey Zeke, How do I eff up something that’s going really well?? Isiah: Let me write down the first 100 things that come to mind while we wait for our food
