LeBron James Called Loss to Bulls ‘One of the Worst Feelings I’ve Had’

The Miami Heat suffered a tough overtime loss in Chicago last night, and an emotional LeBron James appeared to take it the hardest. Reports the Miami Herald and Daily Herald: “This one hurt. You could see it on LeBron James’ face. He was fighting back his emotions, pausing to collect himself before speaking, after [Thursday] night’s 96-86 loss the Bulls at United Center. ‘It hurts,’ James said. ‘As a team, we felt like we played well. We gave ourselves a chance to win…but they pretty much dominated the overtime.’ The Bulls outscored the Heat 12-2 in the extra period. James said the Heat was spent emotionally after C.J. Watson drained a difficult three-pointer to tie the game with 2.2 seconds left. It appeared that either LeBron or Shane Battier left Watson alone. Both players were helping triple-team Kyle Korver, who was 5 of 6 from three-point range for the game. The Heat’s Big 3 scored 71 points (30 from James; 21 from Wade; 20 from Bosh) but Miami didn’t have the depth to contend for the Bulls’ bench. Chicago’s reserves outscored the Heat’s 47-7. The Heat is 13-10 since the All-Star break and 1-8 on the road since then against teams in the playoff hunt. [...] ‘This is one of the worst feelings I’ve had in the regular season this year,’ James told reporters in Miami’s locker room.”

Dear Miami Heat basketball fans I really feel bad for you because you have a unqulified head coach ,if he was in corporate america he would have been fired long ago but he has a boss Raily who hand picked him keeping him around at the cost of the season ticket holders,we should protest, and not renew.until we get a seasond head coach.

The Bulls are sitting pretty because they have three things that don’t change from game to game: Coaching, defense and depth. Those things are gonna be there every night. Even when they shoot poorly, they are tough to beat. Miami on the other hand, was actually playing good defense at some point, I don’t know what happened. But the lack of depth may hurt the Heat. Plus, the Heat don’t have anybody who can consistently score in the paint. (Bosh is more a jumpshooter)

this was a pure slugfest like 10 out of the last 11 times these teams have played where the game could have gone either way. i loved what gar forman
said in respects to this team earning the chance to grow and take another shot at seeing if they can get to finals with this team. its clear that the bulls team is growing and getting better. i dont know how many times alot of you moronic experts need to be told that because of the six banners that fly from the rafters at the united center, chicago is always going to get best shot from opposing teams when they are winning big. i said it in last years playoffs no opponent would be a pushover and neither will this year unless the bulls kick it into a high gear i have not seen and sweep some team ugly.

We will see how the bulls hold up in the playoffs. They will face other teams with depth.
Next is when you look at the stats LBJ is doing his job. Other players need to step up.
Why they didn’t foul in those last few seconds is beyond me. Cost them the game tho.
As a heat fan I’m scared because two guys can’t do the work of 5. They have to get a lead going against a team in order to get some rest only to lose that lead and have to go back in to try to get it back.
    I think Bron jinxed himself.

That 3 pointer wouldn’t have mattered if Lebron hadn’t bricked his first free throw. I guess he should feel bad….. The game never should have gone to overtime.

“And the Bulls 9 times out of 10 would have lost last night given the shot Watson had to hit just to force overtime.”

But he did and they won… and if Lebron James would have hit his free throws… yada yada yada….

“you can’t really expect them to be that reliant on bench players in the playoffs.”

Why not, their bench has been pretty good all year…better than Miami’s.

“Yesterday changed/told us nothing. Just like last season, when the Bulls consistently beat the Heat during the regular season.”

This game, along with the Heat’s play since the all star break has told us a lot about this team and their coach.

i am responding to all the Bulls haters saying what could have happened if Miami did this or that the bottom line is they lost 1. the Bulls won with reserves the MVP coming off an injury, now peep this playoffs is whole different atmosphere and when you go through the playoffs you get better or you should if the BULLS bench stay consistent which they have no one will beat them, they have the BEST coach by far in the NBA and all this talk about what happened last year doesn’t matter they will be there Miami won’t get pass BOSTON if they meet in the 1st round

Like Steve Kerr said during the game Chicago is a much better regular season team. But the Miami is a better fitted team for the post-season.

when Miami was beginning to play bulls last ECF, they had no legit big man and literraly NO bench.(bibby was useless, haslem was still injured, jone was out with broken toe, miller still required surgeries. yet Miami dominated and won in 5 games… this bench is a billion times better then heats last year but yeah thee no match for the bulls bench.also deng is playing with an injury which is gonna hurt them because who their back up sf? Miami may not be the nest regular season team but hell cavs were for 2 seasons and where did that get them?
