Photo: Ivan Johnson Gives the Finger to a Boston Celtics Fan

Ivan Johnson, who somewhat amazingly, was once banned from the Korean Basketball League for giving a ref the finger, pulled out this move again last night as the Boston Celtics sent him and the Atlanta Hawks home for the summer. Classy.

Awesome, love that it’s so close up and I’m sure the fan deserved it. Time to add another pic to my NBA photo collection, thanks Ivan…

  • Angry young man

The fan deserved it, it’s Boston.

    That C’s fan looks hungry.

  • Myung

Sad to say this, but that’s probably the last image you’ll see of Ivan Johnson in an NBA uniform. Hard working player, but dude needs to get it together between the ears if he wants to earn NBA dollars.

    haha time to get fined

  • ClydeSays

Hope you enjoyed that, Ivan. It’s going to cost you about 10k…

  • kobe

Celtic and Lakers fans the most blount and annoying the fan probably deserved it. but its still funny

  • baller23

Ivan Y u Madd tho> lmao. Celtics is heading to the ECF.

  • call me li

I always felt it was unfair fans can just say what every they what and players are command to just sit back and take it. As long as there is no physical confrontation, I say by all means!

^^ are you serious? lmao, umm, i pay money to go to the game, I can say w/e i want. These players need to keep their ego’s in check cause at the end of the day, they’re stuffing their pockets with our money, so show some respect, i don’t care if you’re the opposing player or not.

    geettt thaaa ffff outtta here.

  • Top$helf

The only reason fans go to the game and say what they want is because they know they won’t get there a$$ whooped doesn’t matter how much money you pay for tickets or whatever doesn’t give you the right to cross the line smh it’s a lot of fu€k!n idiots in America

Fans talk trash cuz it’s part of the game but still crossing the line is crossing the line. More than half of these fans would get killed if the players wanted to knock heads especially in this case. I seriously doubt that fat guy wanted anything to do with Ivan.

GTFOH with the I get to act however I want to because I paid for a ticket attitude. Be different than most and act maturely. So, just because you paid a ticket, are you allowed to act in manner so obscene and belligerent that you’d normally get arrested for it if you were just out on the street? Yet, you’d get upset if someone responds to you with a simple gesture? Toughen up. It’s all about the context. Was that dude just joyfully cheering and then Ivan gave him a close-up of that bird? OK, give him a fine. Was the fan belligerent and out of line? Let it effing go. Is a raised middle finger that horrible? CELTICS!!!! Looking forward to this next series. (2 raised middle fingers.)

@booya – as a fan show some class…if you pay for tickets doesnt necessarily mean you can say whatever you want, enjoy the game and show respect Peace!

Ivan really is one of my favourite players.

Just because I pay for a ticket to watch a concert, chill at a club, or watch a movie, it does not entitle me to say whatever I wanna say and act however I wanna act. And this is coming from a guy who got kicked out of a Raptors’ game for heckling the ballboys . . .

  • Cizzo

Good Job Big I… I hate Celtic fans and Patriot fans while I’m airing out the Boston/New england Area…I love the Celtic though…Big ups on closint the series too…

  • Jj

    Slam cover… Hahahahaha!!

Pay for a ticket, act a belligerent fool. Umm.. okay.

Just because you pay to eat in a resturant does that give you the right to hurl insults and threats at the workers?

  • Raymond

get ready for the “love letter” from David Stern :)

Maybe the fan asked Ivan what his favorite finger was! Let’s not jump to conclusions ppl!

I wonder if there is a picture of Chris Webber flipping me off at a 2004 Sonics game. LMAO. Dude did not like what I had to say.
I hope Ivan can stay in the L. I like his style :)
