Most people expect the Miami Heat to return to the NBA Finals this season; it’s just a matter of how many games it takes to dispatch the aging, broken-down Boston Celtics.
Rajon Rondo, as one might expect, doesn’t share in this view.
The Celtics’ superstar point guard and team leader is very confident in his squad’s ability to knock off the heavily favored Heat.

Rajon Rondo believes Celtics can beat Heat.
“We feel we can beat Miami. Obviously, we got to this point. There’s no doubt in our mind we can.
We got to go down there and take care of business.”
Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals takes place in Miami tonight, and it promises to be a bitterly fought series between two rivals who don’t particularly care for one another.
The odds may not be in favor of Rajon Rondo and the Boston Celtics, but as always, they’re not exactly scared of the challenge.
