LeBron James, Miami Heat Feeling Confident Heading Into Game 6

Tonight is a must-win game for LeBron and company. James, his teammates and coaches are feeling pretty good about their chances, despite having their backs very much up against the wall in Boston. Per NBA.com and the Sun-Sentinel: “Regardless of how you get here, 3-2, it’s a great opportunity for us,’ Erik Spoelstra said. ‘All we have to do is win one on each court to take the next step toward our dream. Our guys fully understand that.’ [...] Winning a Game 6 in Boston and forcing a Game 7 back in Miami on Saturday would indeed be something special for the Heat. And Spoelstra’s mood eight hours before game time is an indication that they’re thinking positive. ‘Maybe we’re all too stubborn,’ Spoelstra said. ‘I don’t know. But we’re coming into this game with a lot of confidence.’ [...] LeBron James will have to get past his playoff nemesis and ultimately win a championship before changing the perception. If the Heat lose Thursday, it will mark the third time in five years James has been eliminated from the postseason by Boston. ‘They definitely come up,’ James said. “Of course, it’s human for them to come up. But you got to approach [Thursday] like it’s its own and we look forward to the challenge. I know I do.’ The Heat’s lone win at Boston during the their forgettable 16-game stretch came in Game 4 of last year’s conference semifinals. James was the hero with 35 points and 14 rebounds. The circumstances were different then, with the Heat entering that game ahead 2-1 in the series. Now, a performance as such from James is not a bonus. It’s a necessity. ‘I feel confident,’ James said. ‘I feel confident that we can go up and get one. We’re focusing on Game 6 in this series. That’s what it’s all about.’”

Of course they should. They saw how the L gift wrapped the win for the Thunder and they should expect the same. What better way to erase the memory of the lockout than the “best” Finals in recent history? Expect Bron and Wade to shoot about 40 FT’s combined tonight.

Does anyone actually think he would say he’s not confident? LOL

Hi! It’s your biggest fan again Yvonne Jeter-Abdullah. Now that’s what I want to hear. I am very confident to as well. So go on out there and get that win and bring it back to South Beach on Saturday for a 7th game. Remember to make sure to drive the ball and AND1. (and be sure to play until you hear the whistle for possible continuation). Then mix up your game with some step back jumpers, some three-pointers, remember to pass and cut, slash to the basket, keep moving on offense especially without the ball and look for a seam, flash to the free throw line, post up when you have the advantage and read the defense, follow your shot, block out and put a body on your defender, take your time and bend your knees at the free throw line and follow through be loose and leave it all out on the floor. Make Boston work for it and be sure to move the ball all night don’t be stagnant get them tired and keep them off balance. GO HEAT!!! Sincerely, Yvonne Jeter-Abdullah Yeah!!! Also put a bigger defender with long arms on Rondo like OKC did with Tony Parker to slow him down. Don’t make it so easy for him wear him down. There were to many easy entry passes and lobs to Garnett. I also suggest that you insert Joel Anthony back into the starting lineup he protects the basket and I am impressed with his shot blocking ability and his all out hustle. Let’s go HEAT!!!

    Dear Yvonne

Thank you for your open letter, Lebron will get to it soon and has taken on your advice. Driving the ball to create ‘and AND1′ was on the cards but Nike not too happy with those moves.

P.s we like your name you sound like a good shot blocker. Also we have a tip, invest money so you can be rich, easier said than done isn’t it.

Looks like you were wrong Caboose.

  • IamYOU

    Caboose you are SOOOO wrong.

  • LA Huey

NBA’s totally fixed. The league can easily manipulate turnaround Js into swishes.
