Fingers crossed for a big trade day for my Lakers.

  • http://Roosterteeth.com Caboose

The Cavs are an absolute joke. Kings got handed an amazing pick.

  • Bola

If Eric Gordon, Austin Rivers and Anthony Davis become great then New Orleans will be the next Miami 2.0

  • Robb

They are gonna waste TRob in Sacramento, im mad.

  • http://www.nba.com draft_slug

MEYERS LEONARD WITH THE 11th PICK!!! 2nd coming of Michael Doleac…you heard it here first!

  • http://slamonline.com Brad Long

Jeremy Lamb was a steal at 12. He maybe the second best guard in this draft behind Heal.

  • http://slamonline.com Brad Long

    Beal.

  • ChipS

A lot of people are down on Toronto picking Terrence Ross at #8. I think he’s gonna surprise alot of people.

  • http://slamonline.com Mars

Umm…Terrence Jones… sleeper pick for Houston. Chandler, Budinger and this kid will be nasty. Get a vet A$AP.

  • logues

Mars: budinger got traded to the twolves

  • http://Roosterteeth.com Caboose

    They traded Budinger, Mars.

  • http://Buckthetrapup.com DopeBoiGD

Perry jones about get on heat and beast

  • Ernie D

Sulinger and “The REAL Melo” at 21 and 22. Boston gets players who can rebound and give the C’s size and strength. Don’t laugh just yet about either. Could be the next Thabeet… or the next Hibbert. If Thye sort out Sulinger’s back situation… he could be the next Boozer. Boozer and Hibbert in training? I’ll roll the dice with 21 and 22 if that’s even a remote possibility.

  • http://Roosterteeth.com Caboose

Not quite DopeBoi. Perry must have some crazy scary knees.

  • http://www.rich-imaging.com Dutch Rich

    Boston with the steal!!
No idea how the Waiter went 4th? But I wish him the best.
    Go Cuse

  • Bola

Wow quincy Miller went 2nd round. Feel sorry for the dude. guess GM’s didn’t want to gamble.

  • http://www.newyorkshockexchange.com Shock Exchange

I think Quincy Miller situation was the “line of demarcation.” If you are on the margin and still have years of college eligibility left, NBA wants you to keep your behind in school.

  • http://cnbc.com JTaylor21

I burst into tears yo, its like kissing a unicorn on a pot of gold

  • O

WOW. Never heard of the kid the Knicks drafted. On top of that son ain’t gonna be here for a few years. I’m tight, b….

  • m3lo

heat are stupid for not drafting perry jones smh

  • http://Buckthetrapup.com DopeBoiGD

Warriors and raptor really primed to be a semi conference finals team after older teams in respective conference retire.

Lakers are over once Kobe retires unless mayo or harden go there. Josh smith won’t help lakers get over the hump. A new Coach will.

  • Bola

Lol! Knicks fans, That’s some bs

  • Bola

@ Shock Exchange. I think it’s becaus eof that knee injury he had. Look at Perry Jones too. They both had knee injuries and ended up in the 2nd round

  • http://Buckthetrapup.com DopeBoiGD

    Harkless is wayyyyy overrated!

  • http://Buckthetrapup.com DopeBoiGD

Has anyone seen him play? He’s not Rudy gay or Paul George!

  • Bola

Hornets are looking stacked up right now. The Next OKC 2.0

  • http://Roosterteeth.com Caboose

Bola: Problem is they have no point guard. And two scoring shooting guards.

  • http://Buckthetrapup.com DopeBoiGD

    Hornets starting 5:

Austin rivers (Who will be a great pg)
    Eric Gordon
    Darius Miller
    Uniblocker
    Jason smith

  • http://www.newyorkshockexchange.com Shock Exchange

Bola, agreed. Because of Miller’s knee injury, he did not have the necessary “body of work” teams are looking for. I felt he needed at least one more year in college to give a true picture of his skill level.

  • http://Roosterteeth.com Caboose

DopeBoi: You really think Austin Rivers can play point guard let alone be a “great” one? You’ve yet to say something intelligent on this thread. Maybe your next post will. Cheers.

  • http://Buckthetrapup.com DopeBoiGD

Yes. Focus on what his skills are. Tremendous ball handler with blaring speed. And it’s functional with the ball speed. Maybe 1/3 step slower than John wall. Second, now that he’s in the league and has reliable offensive weapons around him and coach who he trusts he’ll more than willing share the rock. His jumpshot is streaky but he’s going be a force at pg.

  • Bola

@ Caboose, you might be right. Hopefully Austin can develop his 1 vs 1 basketball skill against NBA guards. Davis can improve on the offensive end and Darius can do what he does. And they still got Eric Gordon and Jack and Henry who hasn’t showed his potential yet. @ Shock Exchange you right i felt the boy needed 1 more year at college to establish himself to put some confidence in his game and at the GM dudes. Hopefully this doesn’t down his moral and he continues to improve his game.

  • Bola

    Hope KINGS don’t waste TR.

  • http://Buckthetrapup.com DopeBoiGD

Quincy miller is a steal. It’s better he develop under Karl then Baylor. It long term it’ll be better for his finances. Houston did terrible by passing on perry jones. Terrence jones isnt touching jones

  • http://Roosterteeth.com Caboose

Dope: By that logic, Nick Young, JR Smith, OJ Mayo, and Marcus Thornton should all make “great” point guards. Austin struggles seeing the court and passing the ball, the two things a point guard needs most. He’ll never play PG in the league, believe that. Bola, if the Hornets could make a move for a pass first PG, they could be a sleeper team like Minny last year.

  • http://Buckthetrapup.com DopeBoiGD

Detroit got Drummond and Monroe that could possibly be championship front court with Brandon knight sticker backcourt in 5-7 years

  • Dagger

The funniest/saddest thing about this draft as a Raptors fan: if the Cavs hadn’t chosen Waiters the Raptors would have, according to Casey. Sigh. The Vince Carter days seem farther and farther off . . . .

  • Dankenstein

Either DopeBoi is a troll or he wears adult diapers and a helmet.

  • http://Roosterteeth.com Caboose

    ^Or he’s just appropriately named.

  • Bola

LOL! I got a question to ask people does Rivers have Dwayne Wade type of game ?

  • Moez

Detroit got a player with a hell of a lot of upside in Drummond. Solid pick.

  • http://Roosterteeth.com Caboose

Bola: I really think Austin has more of a Mayo/Nick Young kind of game. Maybe I’m off base, but that’s what I always saw.

  • cbb_fanatic

This draft was interesting. Happy that NO got some champions onboard with AD and Darius Miller. A little frustrated that Monty chose Rivers instead of Jeremy Lamb, but with his connections to the Rivers family, I wasn’t at all surprised. But I was surprised that Toronto was smart enough to pick up Terrence Ross. He’s so quietly good and gets the job done and I was sure he’d fly under the radar, but they saw his stats, defense, and motor was better than most guards and got him with the beast Quincy Acy. DopeBoi doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about. Moe Harkless was UNDERRATED; that’s why showed out at the combine and in workouts (not to mention dropping 30 on Duke). He’s gone fit nicely with the Sixers.

  • http://Roosterteeth.com Caboose

Cbb, I like Terrence Ross but I really thought Jeremy Lamb would fit in better with Toronto. That’s all conjecture though.

  • cbb_fanatic

Michael Jordon actually made two sensible picks with MKG and Jeffrey Taylor, two high motor scorers to lift the culture on that team (MKG can score regardless of what people say; if he’s averaging 12 ppg on 50%fg while attemption the 4th most shots, he can score). Excited about Waiters and Zeller joining the Cavs (I sense a playoff entry). Portland ended up with three great picks (including the strictly underrated Will Barton). Jeremy Lamb became a surprising steal for Houston (one Monty’s gone be seeing in his nightmares). Atlanta had the keen sense to pick up two underrated players (John Jenkins and Mike Scott). All in all, good draft. Some team were a lot smarter than we give them credit for.

  • birdy

Tony Wroten will be great on the Grizzlies.

  • Bola

i want to see how Beal will play with John Wall.

  • http://@broccolicity.com/author/demarco DeMack

@cbb_fanatic, I have to agree with you!! Michael’s best draft to date, and that’s not saying much lol. But overall I was happy to see him do a good job, especially with picking up some athleticism & defense!! I think the Cavs could actually push for the 7th or 8th seed. Man it’s about time I see someone else who thinks Barton is highly underrated. He is statistically the best 2 guard coming out this draft and he has major potential, and he is teaming up with Aldridge, Lillard, Leonard!! I sense a strong comeback from Portland. But I think someone who really got slept on is Kim English. Dude is money from 3pt line and he will fit in well with Knight in transition, and Detroit can move Monroe back to the 4 and let Drummond handle everything down low.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Redd

DopeBoi..you’re a complete idiot wtf lol.

  • SeanMagicJuan

Houston hit a home run because even if they don’t get Dwight, they can build with 3 draft picks with great upside. Some teams are absolutely puzzling like Cleveland taking Dion Waiters when Andre Drummond was available, now they’ll have to see their blunder line up against them in the same division.
