Phoenix Suns May Be Prepping Large Offer For Eric Gordon

With Steve Nash appearing to be on his way out of Phoenix, the Suns will have some money to mess around with this summer, and according to the Arizona Republic, a chunk of that dough may be offered to Hornets guard/restricted free agent Eric Gordon: “The Suns have $23 million in salary-cap space but are trying to retain space for other pursuits, which appears to include a large offer to restricted free agent Eric Gordon. New Orleans traded Emeka Okafor and Trevor Ariza this week to create more salary-cap space, and new owner Tom Benson is expected to want to match an offer for the shooting guard. Gordon could command at least $12 million annually.”

He is not a max guy. He had a solid seasons before going to NO and was injured after that. He should get no more than 10 mil per year.

DAMN! GO for it! But I wish they can have all Nash, GOrdon, and even Ray Allen together with Marshall, Hill & Redd. I like what’s going on right now!

Save your time, NO will match it. Best keep cap space and throw a max deal at Harden.

“With steve nash appearing on his way out” nash isn’t going anywhere if gordon gets signed, smh. All nash wanted was for the suns to improve, in order for him to sign. The addition of eric gordon would definitely get that done, and as a result, nash stays period. He loves the city, he just wants to compete. With him, gordon, hill, red, dudley, morris, frye, gortat, marshall, they are definitely competitive. Everyone leaves happy

^co-sign, NO will match, his health is really suspect though

he was completely healthy before last season… I don’t think he has a health problem, i think he got injured and now its over and done with

Cosign spit, but the training staff in Phoenix is best in the league. Something I don’t think Nash should disregard either. I still don’t believe he’s a max player either.

I hate this, no disrespect to EG but in this situation, whether he goes to NO or PHX he is going to be overpaid, if he goes to NO they´ll eventually have to trade him and if he ends up in PHX he´ll keep them from getting better in a similar way to Joe Johnson who could´ve taken less money and take the Hawks to the finals.

Yall seriously sleeping on EG, that boy can ball and yall talking about maxing out Harden but being cheap with EG?

If gordon leaves NO he will go home to IND

NO will match any offer what ever it takes they made keeping EGordon a top priority

EG is not a franchise player. The core they have in NOLA is solid.

Suns should make a push for harden or should save money and let Nash go.

With the reality of new CBA I don’t think thunder can keep ibaka and harden.

Thunder should trade future 1st rounders, harden, ibaka for Dwight Howard and ryan Anderson. Only reason thunder lost is they can’t keep up with better transition teams. Only way beat heat or bulls is get half court game better.

It’s great thunder got perry jones. If he develops anything closets what tmac was on magic in couple years… Harden won’t be missed

u can give him the max for me …after the 30plus(age)sgs ..EricGordon will be the best sg n 2yrs …to have a top player at a position n the league for 3yrs u take it ALL DAY

they better tank the next 2-3 seasons, then maybe they can make a comeback. Shouldve traded Nash for some young pieces when they had the chance.
GrantHill is 40 and he plays for your team… dig a hole and bury yourselves Suns fans! bwahahahahaha!
