The Hornets had an easy pick, but after that things got a little tougher. Of the other teams in the top 5, who do you think made the smartest move?
Which non-Hornets team that picked in the Top 5 made the smartest selection?

Kings got best value pick, but (I can’t believe I’m saying this), it was the Bobcats.
Cavs should even be in the discussion lol…
I gotta say Wizards, since they addressed a specific need. Charlotte couldn’t have gone wrong w MKG. or T-Rob or Beal. They just need any talent they can get. Washington, I feel, solidified their backcourt for a future playoff team. Charlotte’s smartest move should’ve been the deal with Cleveland.
RunNGun votes for Bradley Beal; that back court of Wall and Beal will be a good one for years to come.
I picked the Wizards with Beal because he allows JWall to drive without crowding him. His 3pt shooting isn’t the best but it’s definitely a bright spot for this team.
13 people voted for Cleveland? How many votes did Dan Gilbert get?
Wow… I can’t believe another Syracuse player went 4th overall. WTH was Cleveland thinking?
Beal is the real Deal!!!!!! Bobcats should have selected him!!!!!!!
Yup, bobcats should have trade own with cleveland.
thomas robinson and DMC is going to be a dominant frontcourt in the near future. just need to get the right wings and sort out the whole to move or not move mess and the kings will hopefully make the playoffs.
Did any of you watch syracuse play? Dion Waiters is going to be an ALL STAR. He has unbelievable explosivity and can drive to the hoop like crazy. He’s never started a game but was clearly the best player on a team that was #1 in the nation for weeks. get real.
it was Sacramento. Charlotte got the best player, but could have got MKG and Thomas Robinson + 2 more first round picks. Instead of just MKG. So i can’t vote for them. Sacramento got the best player for the position they were drafting.
MKG or Thomas Robinson*
Cusei guess has defintely been hitting to much of tha juice ..lol.. 4 for waiters is a reach no what u beleave in your disillusional brain
Waiters is solid. Analytics matter. He graded out as the best wing in the draft in Hollinger’s Draft Rater and the highest rated small wing since Wade. Of the 8 guys who rated as high as Waiters, 5 became All-Stars and Rudy probably will soon. Mock drafts don’t matter. Rondo is a stud and he slipped. If he would have gone 4th that year it would have been worth it….He also rated well under the Draft Rater. If Robinson wasn’t on the board at #5, the Kings would have taken Waiters if they kept the pick. The Warriors wanted Waiters over Barnes. Waiters is better at creating his own shot and getting to the hole than Beal. He’s bigger than Beal. Who was a more efficient shooter last year between Beal and Waiters…Waiters. He’s going to be a bigger, more aggressive Monte Ellis with D.
