CJ Watson Signed With the Brooklyn Nets

Deron Williams’ new back-up point guard is CJ Watson, who signed on with the BK Nets. From the AP: “General Manager Billy King announced the signing without disclosing terms. Watson played in 49 games for Chicago last season, making 25 starts because of injuries to Derrick Rose. He averaged 11.3 points and 4.6 assists in 29.2 minutes as a starter.”

Who does that leave the Bulls with – Marquis Teague? Isn’t John Lucas III a Raptor these days?

Chicago is crazy to let CJ go so easy like that, I agree CJ got game. As a Warrior fan, I Thought they were crazy to let him go too. Salary-cap means nada to the Russian and Jay-Z.

So y’all figured the Bulls should have tried for a sign-and-trade for career backup CJ Watson? I’m sure they can find a PG to pass the ball to a poor free throw shooter in the waning seconds of an elimination game…
